They have differences in their fighting style. Cinder uses smoke to dodge and travel but Ash uses his to make advances towards the enemy. So Ash uses more offensive tactics while Cinder uses more defence and relies upon his regular fighting/shatterspin to do fight

I think he might actuslly have s new power Let me explain During Kai vs ash ash used his smoke to teleport like night crawler from X-man just a puff of smoke to disappear then another to reappear in a better spot With cinder he VERY clearly turns into smoke and TRAVELS we see his smoke move twist and turn before he reapears I hypothesize cinder may have a wyldfyre situation where it’s incredibly similar and easy to mistake for smoke but not the same I suggest “the elemental master of smog”

Cinder reminds me a lot of Morro. Just his personality. The way he talks so confidently and his determination reminds me a lot of Morro. I seen a ridiculous theory where they theorised that Cinder is Morro because they sound similar and how Cinder can propel his smoke towards a target like Morro could propel his wind towards a target. There is no way this can be true I have no idea what the person was thinking 😂
