Yes...first I noticed my parents....but then I started noticing every couple faces.....n those who don't they get separate...because they don't meant for together.....even my family is searching a boy for me but I've met that person who exactly looks like me.....and I get a gut feeling that he'll be my future partner. I think it's because people are naturally attracted to people that look like them, and so, they look alike when they're a couple, get married, get old, because they naturally looked alike in the first place.. So, my theory is that it's because humans are attracted to other beings that look like them.

I'm in an interracial relationship, me being asian and my boyfriend being half black half white. We definitely look different, but when i look at pictures we look actually pretty similar in our facial expressions and body language. I think with couples they spend so much time together that eventually they start sharing bits and pieces of eachothers' auras and personalities that it reflects externally as well as internally.

These factors could play a role. If you make certain faces, you get wrinkles. If you are funny and laugh a lot with your partner, you will get crow feet. And a diet will protect both your bodies in the same way, will give you similar skin tone, will make eyes glow equally etc. Even the way you eat can make your face more symmetrical. But I think the biggest morphological similarities are already there because we are attracted to what we know (our own face and our surroundings). We will often go for someone who looks like our sybling because they are already a mix of our parents, or for someone who looks like ourselves.

I think couples who have spent decades with one another may begin to look like each other because our minds and bodies mirror what we see. After decades of making the same facial expressions as your spouse, you probably begin to develop the same wrinkles in the same places. One theory could be people chose those who look closely like them. 2 theory could be, over several years they share similar food from same kitchen.

My hypothesis is that you start copying their facial expressions and over time it can give you wrinkles in the same spots or soften your eyes. For example my husband's eyes used to always have crow's feets even when he wasn't smiling. His eyes were always kind of slitted because he didn't open them all the way. But after dating for a few years his eyes are now very open and bright, and I think it's because that's how mine always are. Definitely an improvement over his "dopey" eyes.

Oops I forgot to mention, it's human nature to copy someone else's facial expressions. When you see someone laughing, it makes you feel like laughing. When you see someone smile, you start to subconsciously smile. Same with yawning, that sort of thing.

Thats what I think in order: 1- Similar food and lifestyle. 2- Subconsciously mimic the other's facial expressions which affects the muscles and skin of the face. (same smile will bring the same skin wrinkles)

I dated a guy for about a year and people thought we were brother and sister. I've been with my current bf for almost 2 years and I haven't heard anyone else say anything, but in our pictures together I'm starting to see it. My theory is that we maybe we subconsciously look for someone with similar features or just tend to like those have habits similar to our own. Like, I have blue eyes and I seem to have a thing for guys with blue eyes. Maybe someone with a lot of acne connects with another person with acne because they can empathize with each other's condition. Two people who are bodybuilders connect with each other because they both like to work out and so they would also have a similar appearance. The possibilities are endless, but that would be my theory.

To go off your theory, i think that is mostly true too. But for couples that change over a long period and then look like each other is probably because we are like parrots where we tend to copy the people we are around the most and end up having the same mannerisms as the other person which in turn could change the way we hold ourselves in body and in our faces which could change the way our faces look.

I thinl it has something to do with the fact that they are living the "same life". Often they eat the samethings, do the same things... Everything! So after a while the life you live effects how you look.

I think its do with their facial expressions, over time you begin to mimic how you use your muscles to create a similar face, much like how you subconsciously mimic accents, and their lip movements. If your around someone so much, your facial expressions will change, and you begin to look like one another (look at Leonardo DiCaprio impression of jack nickle son)

Pamela Mach They're people that doesn't look a like, but if you look what they do and look some of the things, they do have a similarity :3 My mom and my dad are... T O T A L L Y T H E O P P O S I T E ! She's white, he's tanned, she's small, he's tall, she has a bit big her nose and her eyes are like spain people, he has a really "model like" nose with small closed eyes, and other things that make them totally the opposite. I don't know why they have something they look a like, but if I find it I tell you XDD !!
