Dabura was a very good idea & even as a villain he had a sense of honor & respect. I feel like Dabura could've been redeemed even post DBZ if he were in the Tournament of Power. Half the Universe 7 team were pretty weak especially compared to Goku & Vegeta. Dabura could've easily replaced: Tien, Krillin, Roshi, or 18

As soon as Buu appeared the whole saga was stupid Buu acted like a fool and the whole storyline after that was just awful its like they sabotaged the show on purpose the part where Goku and Vegeta were in Buu's stomach hoping around on cake and ice cream was beyond stupid

This video is warranted. TBH I just wanted Vegeta to low diff him once Gohan started struggling. Dabura seemed imposing but i really liked the theme of the Saiyans being way stronger than everyone else expected at this time. That way, when the real threat shows up, it feels like a big deal. They kind of did that. But I like your idea way better than how Dabura was executed.

Your piccolo plotline actually sounds like it could've been great! Dabura could've survived Buu's kick, and then went to get his troops from demon realm to try and kill Buu along with the entire planet as revrenge. While Goku and Vegeta were dealing with Buu, Piccolo could've been dealing with that as a sort of side plot.

the reasons Dabura was killed that way were first to give Buu the sentation of chaos, second to make both the main characters and Buu look strong, to be precise he was the realm beyond gods, he was supposed to be something like bills in dbs the representation of the best the universe can naturally give in terms of power, then using him to not only make us understand the power of Goku and Vegeta but also the power they are fighting aganist, Buu is so strong he can make even the strongest a joke, and even tho he feels like a clown he is not.

We waited weeks for him to power up in his chamber and face off vs gohan. At least he got a longer fight sequence than buutenks. Z sword buildup for a wet fart of a fight.

the first time years ago i watched the Entire Buu arc I really wished the Dabura would have got revenge and possessed Kid Buu. It would have made sense as Vengeance against Buu and then just the insanity if the evil making him stronger but it never happened. He really is the most wasted potential of villain.

one of the reasons why this saga sucked, not only that but many things about it was complete waste of time from the most part, Gohan being beaten up to death just to get absorbed under his mystic form was one of the biggest let down in my opinion, it reminds me of how useless they turned the Ssj3 form in dbs assuming that beerus himself crushed it already with little to no effort during the bog movie it's was such nonsense when i first seen the scene especially how horrible the animation was in the series.

Dabura dying but literally going back to his realm( hell) plotting on Buu. Then when Vegeta did is final atonement he could've went to hell like piccolo stated but met up with Dabura and they would've had common understanding to help each other get back to earth and fight Buu. Man, if only
