It's sad because the absolute fact is he would not have left that woman unless when he separated from her he did something specific so that he could know that the family was safe and keep an eye on them and that led him to find out what was going on when he wasn't around. this is probably the first time he did that because this was the first time he was truly away from home. you don't know how people really truly treat you unless you play very close attention to how they treat you when you're around and find a way to figure out how they're talking about and treating you when you're not 😢 it was either something is dramatic as that or something as simple as once he took distance from her and started really looking at who she was without having her directly there for her looks and Lust fall on. he realized that wasn't who he was in love with either way sad sad sad 😢
