On the day of the Red Bull Ready Check, I remember I woke up a bit late and missed the van that transported the rest of the Aimlab qualifiers to the venue. Instead, I took one of the cars transporting the pros, and I believe the one I took also had Dapr riding with me. I forget what we talked about on the way, but I feel like I made some good impressions on him. I'm very happy to see that he's changed his mind about aim training and has recently gotten into Voltaic coaching. I'm overjoyed to have been a part of inspiring it.

Wow, its so heartwarming to see the maturity growth in Dapr. In Sentinels, as a team, they were labelled the talented trolls that can get away with anything. But after 3 tough years, you can see the level of effort, sacrifice and work he's put in to really try and achieve his goals. More power to him, Bonkar and the rest of the Oxygen team. Hope they win Tier-2 this year.

Always was a fan of Dapr but this is one of the greatest interviews in Valorant I swear… I am 100% team oxygen now when watching challengers. Dan you really have a way of asking the right questions and transitioning the conversation in great ways to get it to where you want it to go. It’s a very natural flow. Dapr seems like he’s preaching that he’s done some serious growing since his time on oxygen, and I couldn’t be more stoked for it. It’s kinda like how flyuh getting dropped from faze woke him up and then he is now an incredible IGL. If you haven’t interviewed flyuh I really think he would be another great guest on the show/podcast. Thanks for doing all that you do!

One of my favourite interviews I’ve ever seen from esports. Dapr and DDK really did a phenomenal job giving insight to team culture, chemistry, accountability, and self awareness. I hope orgs and Riot can learn a lot from this discussion to help structure their teams and league in a way that allows the scene to thrive. I’m proud of Dapr for ego checking himself and looking at his future through a fresh lens. It’s so easy to carry a jaded or complacent attitude forward, I personally struggle with this and I felt inspired and enlightened to learn some things I can self reflect with. Wish the best for both of these guys moving forward, I know they have bright futures ahead. ❤

Really cool interview, especially about team culture. As a 90's kid, I always thought the new gen of esports teams just didn't understand what it took to be pro as a 'Team'. You can watch BTS documentaries from pro teams and there's always just chemistry issues. From how they raise issues or try to improve, how they base their morale on wins or losses. Seems like Dapr had good fortune to play with one of those rare teams where everyone clicks and the games and process of improving is fun, with everyone on the same page. Should make his journey way easier having a bar set and history to draw on. Thanks for the nostalgia

When Dapr mentioned that AimLab pros offer pro-only coaching, it made me wonder why orgs aren't signing aim coaches. I get adding another person on their payroll is expensive and the esports ecosystem is super unstable atm, but you can have one coach for every esport team under the org. A general aim coach for the org means that players don't have to actively seek out the coaching separate from org time. That way orgs can guarantee that players are properly training while also not ruining their body with poor habits and posture.

The issue is more about buy-in from pros. Whilst I was at 100T, I joined the Amped program and was coached by mini for 4 weeks to see if I felt like it was all legit. I felt very positive about the experience afterwards and encouraged my players to try it out. No takers, sadly. Just like dapr says, if there's no buy-in it won't work and you can't force players to do it, not only would that hurt trust it would also be ineffective. That's why it's great to see how public certain pros have been about it. The report Matty released with EliGE was really awesome. Slowly but surely more pros are beginning to be interested. The other thing to understand too is that in CS, not only are players more resistant to this type of thing, they have really good tools to train with ingame, which VALORANT just doesn't have. VALORANT, culturally, has more of an awareness of aim training due to all the marketing AimLabs has done, which again, didn't take place in CS. So there are quite a few factors in making aim training feel useful and relevant, but I think we are moving in a good direction.

One thing to consider is what video game culture was. Most people like to reference how toxic COD lobbies were/are and it perfectly encapsulates the lack of emotional intelligence in the population. People are pent up and take their unprocessed emotions out on random strangers. It’s good that emotional intelligence in gaming is being discussed because it needs more attention

watching him talk about passive aggressiveness and not being able to own up to things is eye opening. this is happening to the DSG apex team right now. dezign is ruining that team and its so easy to see why and how poorly they perform because one player is pulling everyone down the drain

Aim Trainers are not bad, but should not be the focus of your practice. Instead, use Aim Trainers as a Warmup, OR if you are still new to PC and need to learn how to properly aim on mouse. If you notice that an area of your aim is not as good as others, throw a couple tasks into your warmup playlist. As you warmup before each game you train those micro adjustments without even noticing it. Remember, Its always better to use the In-Game gun range for practicing your aim.

Not every gamer knows all games and all tournaments, so that would help a tone.
