I think the most slept on unit right now is Izanagi. It should be in the convo for the straight up best Uber/Legend rare in the game but it's not even on people's radars. To put it into perspective, just a single hit of Izanagi is stronger than Level 60 Max Talented Stregnthened Balrog which just getting one with TBolt is agreed to be getting incredible value. And Iza does THREE of these hits and does it from Range and doesn't require Tbolt. Xskull, you NEED to educate people on it's ridiculous game breaking potential!

Very true, I feel like hes often dismissed because of of his single target and long attack frequency, but multi-hit actually is very beneficial to single target units, and his conjure is an amazing utility to protect him from pushes and peons. People complain that he's irrelevant because he's seemingly impossible to get, but it turns out that you have a higher chance at getting him than a specific fest uber because the uber pool contains ALL ubers. He definitely needs to be talked about more imo

When people argue that tier lists do more harm than good, the incessant "not top 1, therefore bad" or in dphono's case, "not top 3 therefore bad" is usually the main point. I don't fully agree with that since a good tier list will explain its criteria and note that different criteria can yield different placements. In dphono's case, the 1 lineup point in particular actually has a cousin that applies to the average player. Its versatility means that, of the top tier fest ubers, phono has a pretty solid argument for being the single best one to pull (and if you're not whaling/hacking/seedtracking, you probably wont have all the best fest ubers even after years of playing). Darkt annihilates traitless progression milestones, dasli and phono go boom, and mitama is practically Gojo with infinity, but dphono's role compression and synergy mean that if you pull him out of all the fest ubers you have the best generalist to support whatever lineup you bring to 90% of stages. Not as relevant when you're the kind of endgame player that has all the fests unlocked and more, but still important

Especially in a gacha game where some people might actually make a financial decision based on their perception of what's good or not, it's important to make sure everyone understands how things are being judged. Even in a competitive game without gacha elements, responsible people will point out that there are differences between high level and low level play, arguments about matchup spreads, etc. I know a lot of people disagree with your videos but the criteria are laid out in them so even if there's fair disagreement, the idea of just wholesale dismissing any kind of general ranking is silly.

There is one correction for 3:08 that we have to make, there will only be less than 100 range(490-550)for all three hits to be hit, not 200-900. If we are talking about general dps, it would much less than that, and we are not even talking about if enemies got KBed then it would result even less damage.

I'll be honest here and say that when Dark Phono first came out, I wasn't entirely impressed with him initially. But then I saw 7's series of videos involving Dark Phono (One Lineup Uncanny Legends with 4 units, One Lineup Heavenly Tower with 3 units, his entire Perfect Lineup v5) and thought to myself, "Huh, maybe he's not so bad after all." So I decided to open up BCU and test him out during the time us EN players were waiting for his arrival. Honestly, I was way more impressed with him than I thought I would be. It's insane how this unit actually got overlooked for so long. Sure his damage may not be as impressive as Dasli's or Balrog, Yukimura and regular Phono, but he makes up for that with all the other insane qualities he has and I think that's what was REALLY overlooked, his insane versatility kit. Fast movement speed, high health (for a unit with 500 range, it's high), full backswing, just everything really literally a jack-of-all-trades uber. Great video thank you for bringing more light onto this insanely busted unit.

Ive always argued for this since Dphono release, only for nobody to really take it seriously. This is insane validation hell yeah While dasli and phonoa are undoubtedly strong they also require a stabilised battlefield to do their thing. In that sense they are the most "start winning" and "win more" button in the game. I think that's why people are so impressed by them. They deploy them and go "oh hey suddenly I'm DESTROYING the enemies" not realising that they had already stabilised the battlefield with their meatshields and other CC, so dasli and phonoa get a little more credit than they deserve. Dphono meanwhile is less flashy when it comes to "win more", but can still absolutely do that role too. But what sets him apart is his ability to stabilise a failing frontline to give your meatshields more breathing room. He's a fantastic uber to mount comebacks with when your frontline is collapsing, a role that dasli and phonoa struggle to fill. This is such a massive advantage for dphono that really adds so much usability for the unit and room for error for your team/gameplay while still being a decent "win more" button that I can't help but see Dphono as the stronger unit. (Also, stabilisation is a wayyyyy more important job than winning more, but thats too much to get into for a youtube comment) And as mentioned, when you add other units like can can, pizza, abahamut, and balrog into the mix, dphono's slow allowing those units to land hits more effectively further closes or even overtakes the dps gap between dphono and dasli/phonoa Oh and speaking of balrog, he kinda does his own thing and cant be compared to dphono, I like to think of him as kind of outside the tier list as a specific stage/enemy counterpick instead of part of any general lineup. He does work incredibly well with Dphono tho lmao.

He is certainly an interesting Uber to think as "the best" essentially taking traits from some of the best Ubers, mixing them together and creating a jack-of-all traits that retains most of the powerful traits of those Ubers. Where Phono and Dasli have unmatched generalist DPS, Dark Phono challenges them with the same high DPS, safe range, but tries to add in the slowing factor of Mitama, granted not nearly as consistent, but it's there, it's gonna help your other units land hits and halt enemy movements much better than those other two. (I don't think I have any way of comparing him to Balrog, Balrog is just go go gadget nuclear bomb) In the end, I agree with what you said at the end about them being equally ranked, I may even be inclined to put dark phono at #4, nice vid!

I had actually been thinking about this thought for a while. In recent time, especially post game, which I will consider to be Zero Legends after Sage of Mind Soractes, I had been using him more than King of Destiny Phonoa simply because he can control all the enemies on a field. This is mostly for Baron stages, where I refuse to bring Boulder Cat because I refuse to bring Research comboes. :3 I had also been considering them as a modern Mitama the Oracle, one that better fits into the current META. Important immunities, Attack, Range, some of the very important traits in the current META that Mitama the Oracle sorely lacks (except attack, they are decent, but King of Extinction Phono simply does it better)

The rise of DPhono's reputation has been great to see (even if it's only just people just realizing that him not having one broken stat doesn't make him disappointing). DPhono I notice is always THE uber I default to when facing a tough stage and that's cause he has everything you could want in one uber. The video already goes over it so I'm not gonna regurgitate it though. In my opinion I still have him below Dasli and Phono since their highs are higher, but I wouldn't get into an argument if I saw someone put DPhono as the number one uber.

6:22 Small typo there: 550 Range instead of 500. I think Dphono is very strong / almost overpowered, but Dasli and Phonoa are straight up broken. My opinion is that OP units are extremely strong, but still need some thought and planning to show their full potential, like Izanagi and Balrog. Dasli and Phonoa not only don't have said limitation, but have more on top of that. Dasli's power was so overwhelming that it led to the creation of Counter-Surge, and even then making an anti-Surge lineup that could support her was still viable most of the time! Meanwhile, Phonoa has little to no weaknesses that offset his power: Curse? Excluding bosses, only Loris and Curse Doge Base can naturally reach him. Traitless? 1 trait out of 10, he can still do chip damage and, in mixed stages, allow the rest of the lineup to focus more on them. Multi-Hit? Not really an issue outside of Black enemies. High Speed? Full backswing. Dphono being this strong despite receiving nerfs to his Range and effective damage speaks of the insane power Phonoa holds. I think that's why Dphono didn't make a big splash when he was introduced: he's a balanced Phonoa. Still, it turns out that a balanced version of a broken unit is still extremely strong. TL:DR DPhono is very strong, but Dasli and Phonoa are outright busted. This doesn't detract from Dphono's strength though.

I personally think that Dgaru is highly underrated. Sure, it only takes 1/3 damage from traitless, unlike Garu who takes 1/3 damage from all traited, but Dgaru has strengthen at 50% and a 100% chance to survive a lethal strike, which I think could be a huge game changer in the right scenario.

I also have balrog, not all the way boosted but boosted enough to be a menace (level 40, attack up lvl 5, defense up lvl 3) and he hasn’t made it on nearly as many teams. Hes powerful for sure, but I’d personally rate dphono as better overall based off sheer versatility. This meta continues to lean towards raw damage more than cc. Which balrog is the best at. Dphono covers many roles at once which is why he's broken really, he makes space for other heavy damaging units, such as lasvoss, poseidon, anubis etc. and if you want to argue about ld dps or something, D'arkt 19k dps 340 standing range 200-550 ld Ganesha 26k dps 400 standing range 275-725 ld Ganesha is just a better unit and he's arguably not even top 4.

Your comparison of D'arkt and Ganesha is laughable. For one thing, you're assuming that everyone has access to level 60 Ganesha with max Talents and UT. Level 50+Talents is much more reasonable for the average player. Using said parameters, here's the comparison... Unstrengthened: D'arkt 8k DPS, (full backswing,) 146k health, 5 KBs (29k endurance) Ganesha 7k DPS, 106k health, 5 KBs (21k endurance) Strengthened: D'arkt 16k DPS, (full backswing,) 87.5k health, 3 KBs (29k endurance) Ganesha 14k DPS, 85k health, 4 KBs (21k endurance) It's clear as day that D'arkt has better offense than Ganesha, as well as equal/better survivability. D'arkt also has 91 second cooldown while Ganesha sits at 114.53, D'arkt has more speed, he has imunities, and he has a target (Massive DMG vs. Traitless). Ganesha's only advantages are pierce and standing range, and even then D'arkt still has more inner range/smaller blindspot. Your conclusion of Ganesha being better than D'arkt has no evidence behind it. 3. You're point about DPhono synergizing with other Ubers is irrelevant. 4. I'll finish this with a comparison of DPhono and Dark't at level 50 (strengthened D'arkt) Survivability: D'arkt has 87,480 health (3 KBs) with 340 standing range, DPhono has 91,800 health (5 KBs) with 500 standing range (both have full backswing). DPhono wins. Mobility: D'arkt costs 4350 with a 91.20 second cooldown, DPhono costs 5100 with a 137.87 second cooldown (speed is equal). D'arkt wins. Targets and abilities: D'arkt does Massive DMG to Traitless (3x dmg and dps), DPhono has 100% Slow against all enemies with an average of ~33% uptime. DPhono wins. DPS: D'arkt has 16,028 DPS (48,084 vs Traitless), DPhono has an average DPS of ~9,000. D'arkt wins. Immunities and permanent* abilities: D'arkt has 100% Strengthen at 60% health and is immune to Warp**, DPhono has level 1 Mini-Surge (spawns 400-1100) and immunities to Curse and Surge (both are immune to Wave). This one can go either way. To tally it all up, DPhono has 2 points, Strengthened D'arkt has 2 points, and we've got 1 point in the toss-up category. Even if you think DPhono is better, there's no denying that they're at least comparable. *I define a perament ability as an ability that cannot be lost due to Curse (e.g Wave, Strengthen, etc.) **Though he doesn't have the actual immunity, I would argue that D'arkt is essentially immune to Curse TL;DR: No, Ganesha isn't even in the same ballpark as D'arkt. And yes, D'arkt comes close to the top 4, likely surpassing Balrog (at least in my experience with him) and being comparable to DPhono.

The whole “generalists fall off later in the game” is a complete lie and people such as 7 / Shichi prove that you can make general lineups that still work on the vast majority of stages.

@@XskullDrSkullThe main problem I had in end game, (early 3 star UL in particular) was that a bunch of frontline pusher enemies that pretty much just get folded in 1 star (gory variants, bore variants, bun buns) just had so much health and so much dps that they would immediately just blow through stacks of specialist meatshields, cc and attackers and into either dasli or phono’s blindspot and especially the bun buns would just one shot them. For the bun bun matchup in particular, specialists like ultimate windy helped way more than either dasli or phono just due to the sheet burst damage without a range penalty like lasvoss. One generalist that did help a lot was UT anubis since his attack has more burst damage and if he surges most enemies will take the full damage unlike dasli’s surge since 3 star bores and gorys can just run through her’s. Also anubis not having a blindspot preventing dps from just falling off a cliff once enemies get close.

That’s my king of extinction! In all honesty, he is my only real Uber carry I use, and I use him in my load out but I don’t use him that much because he single handedly carried me so far in the game, I actually prefer Dhono over Dasli, but that may be biased because Dhono gives off big bad energy and it’s so cool

I agree with your statement about how the top ubers are incredibly close to each other. But personally, I just can’t see Dark Phono being above the top 4 without a major shift in the meta, but I may be wrong about that. Dark Phono is an incredible uber being a “jack of all trades”, and I do see him potentially being the best uber in the future. Also, I do agree with pretty much everything said in the video, but personally I would say Dasli, Phono, and Balrog have the slightest edge over Dark Phono. But that’s just my opinion, they’re all op anyway.

in terms of solely the uber itself i don’t think dphono is the best but the fact you can just shove him in a loadout and he covers the role of so many other cats allows you to have so much more freedom in what super rares and other stuff you can bring and i think THATS what makes him the best uber in my experience. I don’t own balrog but throughout late game neither kasli or phono have provided me quite as much usage as dphono

Although not having as big of a range as Phono, I always found Dphono’s curse immune helpful especially in Uncanny Legends when fighting Golem Sunfish, Lorey, or a Curse Base where Phono could get cursed and lose DPS And also the bonus that it slows everything

DPhonos could be the perfectly broken unit in the entire game. Good stat in every way, good survivability, multi-hit that actually connect, insane pierce, having CC as an extra buff is funny. This mf can deal with swamp, back-liner, boss and control. Also work very well as chipping opponent health. Despite all that, he's still not breaking the game. All because he does "good" in everything, not "best".

And use that extra slot to create better synergy or fill in for a different role. The average unit has grown much stronger overtime so saving a slot is very valuable.
