People can reach out to and feel the presence of others through the force. For example when Vader felt that Luke was on the fake cargo ship in episode 6. The whole point of Yoda going to Dagobah was so that his "signal' as a light side user would be muffled by the dark side there.

The bond between Tatooine and Anakin causing a conflict between the two personalities Vader and Anakin Skywalker is probably my most favorite and I think the most reasonable explanation. Also the balance of the force part is quite interesting and seems pretty reasonable. The last is of course another factor, but I think that, to kill a jedi left, they would've even investigated the planets in the outer rim

In the comic I believe they were searching for "the rebel" that blew up the Death Star, Luke became Empire enemy #1 after episode 4 until they figured out it was Anakin's son. The main question is how did Darth Vader ever found out that Luke was his son? At the end of Episode 3 Palpatine told Vader that Padme was dead. But he never mentioned her babies. Then by Episode 6 he finds out through the force that Luke had a twin sister named Leia (Vader's daughter) It just doesn't make sense to me.

It was most likely a place he would never go near again, after losing his mother. Yoda was protected by the dark nexus, but Obi-wan was found by Maul, and that was because Maul didn’t have any issues with going there. Obi-wan was discreet in what he did while in exile. That was most likely the best reason he survived.

According to the books, Jabba's palace was originally a sanctuary built over a dark side hot spot created by the death of a powerful sith lord a long time ago. The palace was originally built as a meditation sanctuary for sith worshipers. They usually kept to themselves and had no problem with Jabba using it since he also paid for upkeep while they stayed in the upper levels meditating on the dark side.

She was, Vader sensed it from Luke during the Empire Strikes Back. Whether or not the Emperor ever sensed it during Leia's time as part of the Senate before it was disbanded in A New Hope. Nobody really knows. It could be that he had some suspicions, but not enough to act upon. Also Palpatine could have just not cared. He was too busy with the bigger problems connected to ruling a galaxy then one simple little force sensitive girl. Also, going outside of what is now called "legend" Leia never seemed all that strong in the force, at least not in any of the movies.

Kitteh Cat many people suspect she had a force ability, that was a passive one, that could shield herself from the search of other force users. Kind of like Palpatine and the Jedi in the prequels, just not an intentional act

You guys need to read the original trilogy. There is a footnote from Leia mentioning about how Palpatine rose to power and such and afterward he secluded himself and thus then the Senate and Governors started doing their things in the name of the Emperor. So most likely this is how Palpatine never had a clue of Leia and things.

This doesn't make sense to me. Yoda going to a dark planet like Degoba.... that was strong in the "dark force". Wouldn't that just make Yoda, who is one of the strongest light side force users ever, stand out even more? That logic doesnt' make sense to me.

Nelekets He went there because that's where he is "from," he crash landed on that planet in his 20's and a Jedi found him and trained him to be a Jedi, years later his master died, and Yoda buried him on the planet. That's according to the "canon" Yoda story

The jedi temple was built on top of an old Sith Shrine and it emitted an aura of the dark side which is what clouded the jedi's judgement, i assume it worked in very much the same way in that dagobah was emitting a dark side aura which was masking yodas presence

It’s smart if that last name is a pretty common last name. There hasn’t been many last name that I see where there’s only one family who have it. Like Jackson or Williams or Peterson or any other last name. There is always a ton of others with a similar last name
