That scene where She-Hulk says to Bruce that she's had to control her anger infinitely more than he's ever had to is just absurd and goes to show that the writers know nothing about the character. Bruce had been The Hulk for years before She-Hulk even existed, which already contradicts her entire statement. They don’t even show those struggles throughout the show, which proofs that statement invalid. In regards to the two dance scenes, the team behind Deadpool and Wolverine understands that Deadpool would do something as crazy as dancing next to Wolverine's grave whilst disrespecting his corps as it's been a part of his character throughout different comics and cartoons. Also, Deadpool's dance focuses on the main core protagonist as it shows his character and personality, which sets the tone for this movie. Not to mention the fact that the opening was so good that this scene now lives rent-free in my head. 😂 Whereas She-Hulk's dancing just came completely out of nowhere and feels forced. I understand that She-Hulk is a very flirtatious character in the comics, but that twirk scene doesn’t show that one bit. To this day, I still don't understand why they got Megan The Stallion on that show, other than to appeal to a certain audience.

Bruce’s father was abusive and killed Bruce’s mom in front of him. Bruce struggled with dissociative identity disorder because of this, which was only made worse by the gamma radiation. He was hunted by the government for years. That whole scene also does obviously show that she can't control her anger. It's obvious for us and to the Hulk as well. Because he just watches her transformed can be seen smiling. Even when they have their little spat Hulk even told her that she said hurtful things to him. She doesn't apologize for that ever. Which is shitty. Plus saying you control your anger to the Hulk is definitely like probably a really bad written scene. (Again I GET WHY IT'S THERE... Doesn't change how shit the scene was)

Even then the problem isn’t about comic book accuracy, the issue is the execution. Something can be “comic accurate” and still not be executed well. The meta humor and lawyer stuff is there but that’s not done well either. The writing and pacing just isn’t great, it’s cool if y’all like it tho. 😂

I’m pretty sure the dancing sequence isn’t supposed to be something “canon” for a lack of better words. It’s supposed to be like the other deadpool openings. Like Deadpool 2’s for example. We see Deadpool doing transitions and even dance moves, but they aren’t mentioned as actually happening in the movie. Deadpool acknowledges he’s in a movie and knows the tropes. He reacts as it goes along but he knows what’s supposed to happen.

@@et4003 That’s my point, the dancing has no effect on the overall plot of the movie. It’s just meant to be a gag (that like I said, I don’t think is “canon” to the events of the movie. Also it had to be green screen because it wasn’t Ryan in the suit doing the dancing. It was an actual dance performer. So that’s why it was shot somewhere else because he was probably unavailable for filing that day. As for Deadpool breaking the fourth wall, I can see how you feel like it affects how the story impacts you, but that’s why you need to understand why DP does what he does. He knows he’s in a movie, but that doesn’t change the fact that he loves his family. He knows the movie is going to end in a big climactic third act, but if Wolvi isn’t there by the third act, his world won’t live.
