if I were to use a defensive rock type, the only typing to fit that would be shuckle and kleavor, with 3 weaknesses and 2 resistances, while other typing's with rock have at least 4 weaknesses or a 4x weakness.

Rock/flying is pretty good even with 4 weaknesses i’d say, like aerodactyl

I remember in gen 6, my friend battled me and opened with wobbuffet. Sadly for him, i opend with talonflame and seeing wob, i did what you do, and SDed. He did t switch sooo i SDed again and maxed out the next turn. I turn to him and go, "why did you let the murder bird dance?" He was like " i got counter" " you think wob can take a +6 stab brave bird?" " Hes thicc" So murder bird 6-0 that one. Hes not a hardcore player fyi, he just thought wob could take it. We then did our civic duty and dunked on his dumb ass for the rest if the night.

Man, I remember using Red Card with Bastiodon in Gen 7. It wasn't good, but it was fun. Moveset of Stealth Rock, Roar, Magic Coat and Metal Burst. Why did they take away Magic Coat from him in Gen 8?

Xurkitree lost Tail Glow going from Gen 7 to Gen 8, it seemed like a lot of rebalancing happened.
