Why did Captain Tania Shergill join Fauj?

Captain Tania Shergill is the first Indian woman Parade Adjutant to lead an all-man contingent at an Army Day function in Indian Army, Republic Day in 2020.
Having received her training from Officers Training Academy, Chennai, she was commissioned into the Corps of Signals in 2017. She hails from an army background and is a fourth-generation army officer in her family.

@@imranzaki3687 We are talking about some physical standards here. The enemy never gonna see the soldiers as men or women. If men have to achieve some sort of standards in army then the women must have to achieve those standards. That's the point he had made in the previous comment. Anyway I agree with your point that there are some negligible amount of incidents we could point out that women outperform men. But survival I don't think so. Mostly snipers has been deployed in highest places to monitor and save their assigned troops. If they were deployed in highest opportunities areas then they will earn more kills. That doesn't mean they are good at survival. Survival is for the people who are at the ground on the battlefield. If they have any record of destroying some kind of machine guns or tanks I could consider that as survival because it involved tactics and strategies. And I gone through the history of red army and I didn't find that sort of records. So your point doesn't make any sense.

What u mean boy or girl.... ofcourse girls...this is one more step towards female supremacy. As you can see no girl is inducted as sepoy..but are only allocated officer level ranks. I think in coming future more n more officer level commanding post will be allocated to women and all men will made to be their juniors sepoys. Why don't army admit women in sepoy ranks rather than allowing directly to be officers

Why there are not women in army at havaldar and subhedar ranks. There is still needed gender diversity in lower ranks of army. Why only few women admitted in Army are given higher ranks like captain, major only. Also I had not seen a male commanding officer for all women army contingent. When that will happen, that will be the real victory of gender diversity and equality. It will be the Day of pride for me. When a Male Officer will be allowed to command all women highly trained army contingent.
