@Toutaras firstly, they could find a way. 2ndly, they have great Viking relics like the finds of Sutton Hoo. 3rdly, those are some of the few finds that weren't stolen by the British, but left in Britain by invading/colonised/settled vikings. Really the Viking ships weren't found until wad too late for Britain to steal. They haven't conquered Denmark or Norway either ever, or after the ships were found. I can't find evidence that Sweden has a Viking Boat BTW.

@@erin9868 idk what you’re trying to prove but it’s wrong in this context anyway, maybe you misunderstood me.. there’s no early, old, or new version of Shahada. The Shahada on the coin of this video is just a bit elaborate : “There is no God but Allah, only Him, He has no partner, and Muhammad is His messenger.” The other version is just a bit shorter: “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger” other versions may say “… Muhammad is His servant and messenger “ etc But none of them is older than the other or newer, they’re just different ways to express the same thing

@@Nauma3 oh! No, not trying to prove anything - that's why I was so confused. I thought there WERE different versions/variations of the shahada. Like, imagine there's 10 or 20 or 50 different variations, depending on where you live or the time period, and the creator is saying "this is an older one" and then OP is going like "there are no versions, only variations". But there literally no other versions, only very slight variations of the same thing no matter where or when.

The version of the Shahada that was written on the coin at the time indeed slightly differs from the version that is widely used today. Therefore, it is an "early version" of the Shahada. @@alfreddupont1214 No, there weren't. Al Hajjaj never tried to pass off those old Sassanian coins as his own creation. He merely overstruck them with his name to signify that he was now in charge. However, he did mint -- very famously -- the first Islamic coins (as part of Caliph Abd al-Malik's currency reforms). PS I saw the dracham you're probably referring to in the British Museum. Just to sum up the shahada talk, the declaration of faith could go on and on and on ( there are lotssssss of things we must attest to such as the prophethood of all the other prophets and the belief in all previous books ) but the 2 most necessary things to declare are : there is no god but god ( taw7id ) muhammad is the prophet of god ( last of god’s messengers, the one who brought up the muslim umma ( some sort of انتماء = belonging to ) ) ❤

I'm pretty sure it was done on purpose. The times were much simpler back then. And there was no formal division between religions back then in the 8th century. Muslims and Christians pretty much were the same thing with the same rituals back then, and were treated almost the same. It's hard to believe nowadays, but yes. Times were much simpler with much less division in religion that we have today.

Plagiarised from the Islamic world...that's a criminally underused phrase given how much the Europeans have 'borrowed' ;-D
@eshaal1239
@eshaal1239 Күн бұрын
Its not "borrow" of you build upon it. The muslims did a great deal of work but almost all of it was built upon the works of indians and greeks. They dont even tey to hide it, if you were to read any islamicate source they all atteibute it to greeks and indians because they considered them very wise. Infact people would make their own books and say they were from popular people (like aristotle) one of the biggest philosophies during that time is the neo platonism which comes from plato, an european. Europe didn't 'plagarize', they built upon the muslims works hence made them their own. You wouldnt call a modern air craft maker out for plagarizing the wright brothers, would you? In the same light you cant call the europeans out. I am not even european and I have no more love for them then I have for any other society. My favourite is definetly easily the medieval islamicate society but one must be honest. I am muslim and from pakistan but there is no point in having any biases.
@SamSam-yb3ls

@@eshaal1239 I understand point of view, but you need to acknowledge that one can see so far only by standing on the shoulders of giants. Yes, it is plagiarism, if you attribute the ideas as your own and not acknowledge those that not only devised it, but also shared that knowledge. I'm not Muslim, but I have studied History, and whilst Europe was going through the Dark ages, the Islamic and Arab world was saving the works of Socrates, Aristotle and Plato, transcribing them into Arabic whilst Christian fundamentalism was burning them as paganism. Europeans, of which I am one, have long stolen much and the only reason you know about the wright brothers' invention (for instance) was because it was patented, and by whom? inventions are not always attributed to those who actually invent them, but by who tells you they invented them.
