Jeff, I was a municipal police officer for 22 years in a city of 100,000, retiring in 2023. We routinely held murder crime scenes for FIVE DAYS TO A WEEK, and those did not involve the attempted assassination of a former president. Just saying… Also, it boggles my mind that the Secret Service did not have a local officer with his radio in their CP as a liaison. When then President Trump visited my city during his term, my best friend was the local liaison and provided the SS with local comms. Anything our officers transmitted was instantly relayed to the SS. When President Trump again visited here during the 2020 election, I was on the motor unit and was within arm’s distance of SS agents the entire time. Also, when questioned in Washington, Cheatle said that the SS “routinely records communications”, but, inexplicably, they did not have recordings from that day. Remember, we have audio recordings of SS comms from the assassination attempt on President Reagan in 1981…”Rawhide is okay!” How is it possible that we don’t have audio recordings from an event 43 years later??? In PA, municipal cops refer to the State Police as the “gray gods”, because they believe they are so superior. I can tell you from experience that the feds are ten times worse. I don’t doubt for a second that the Butler officer advised the SS to cover that roof, and he was completely disregarded. 😕

You don't need an email saying "we aren't putting anyone on the roof" when they didn't put someone on the roof. You aren't going to get an email like that. But you do need to look at the facts that nobody was put on that roof. Too much is being called a conspiracy when there were to many problems to be just incompetence. Nobody placed on the roof, snipers left their post, radios were not picked up, he's seen multiple times but nobody stops to question him in a very small space, they know he has a range finder, they know he flew a drone, he walked around freely for 2 hours, the sniper team can't get a shot on him, but the ground guy can, body cremated without warning, gun didn't appear damaged, shady gun hand-off and numerous other things that cant be explained away. People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing. They know this looks bad for them and if they had a story that the public would buy, they would give it to us, but they don't because they can't.

As a European, who’s following these investigations, something which I have difficulty getting used to, is the fact that in Europe, at least in France, Italy, Portugal or Spain, all the proceedings in a crime scene are directed by the (supposedly independent) Judiciary, by a Judge or a public prosecutor, not by the police or any other security service. The police will at all times follow the judge’s instructions and no corpse will be removed until inspected by the judge and the removal being authorised by him or her. Here in Spain, these proceedings are conducted by a carreer civil servant, namely an independent criminal judge who is in charge of the (preliminary) investigation (“juez de instrucción”). The Coroner is also a carreer civil servant and a medicine doctor and also acts under the investigating judge’s instructions. Seems wise to me…

Jeff, interestingly, this is not the first time FBI Evidence Response Team (ERT) altered the evidence after they did their site review. The other time (FBI ERT) did the same thing was after surveying the 2017 Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest music festival shooting, by applying garage floor epoxy compound type material with paint rollers on poles over the bullet strike marks, and washing the crime scene down. This was video recorded from the Mandalay Bay hotel while they were doing it, several days after the shooting, but I can no longer locate the footage on KZbin. So, while i agree with Congressman Higgins that "The FBI cleaned up biological evidence from the crime scene, which is unheard of. Cops don’t do that, ever." The FBI apparently DO crime scene cleanup when they want to insure that they solely possess and control all the evidence. One other question I have is whether there were any other drones operational in the area? Ronald Rowe, the Secret Service’s acting director, told Congress during his testimony hat cellular communication issues delayed the Secret Service from launching counter-drone technology it planned to use to help secure the Butler, Pennsylvania rally site. I realize Crooks had a drone, which supposedly flew around 4:00 pm, but was that the only one? Crooks had encrypted communications programs, was observed on his phone by the Butler/Beaver snipers, and was mysteriously able to be certain that no post standers would be waiting for him on the roof of the AGR building around 5:14 , all while simultaneously successfully avoiding officers on the ground. Real time drone footage sure might be useful to someone under those circumstances, especially if you knew USSS counter drone abilities were down. Not that any nation-state actors employ such tactics. Hypothetically speaking. Finally, not trying to cause unnecessary conspiracy theories here, and don't doubt that both the Butler SWAT member and USSS CS fired and hit Crooks, but I'm actually wondering a bit at this point whether the Butler SWAT member actually killed him. I say this because Butler SWAT officer was on the ground, USSS CS on elevated roof. Think about where the buffer tube/stock is on a person on the REVERSE incline of a sloped roof holding an AR-15 a foot or two behind the peak. Hitting the target's head from the ground a lot more probable than the buffer tube, which ordinarily would be expected to be behind roof peak and only exposed to elevated fire.

I just want to say. I went to the Trump Rally on Friday in Glendale Arizona. A couple of things stood out to me. One, in the instructions they sent by email, it specifically said no bags or backpacks. I saw with my own eyes the secret service letting in bags. At the metal detectors, they just waved me through. Didn't even ask me to take my hat off. But I took it off because I know the procedure. I do security for a living and I used to work at an arena doing security checks at the door with metal detectors. I also know that some things do slip by with those metal detectors. I've tested it with the ones at the arena I worked at. They're the same exact metal detectors. The other thing that stood out to me was, in order to get tickets for the rally, you have to register for it. No one, not one were checking tickets or registration to make sure people coming in were registered and had tickets. So basically anyone could have just walked in there as long as they were cleared by security Secret Service. Those were things I noticed and observed first hand. The security being done there was way too relaxed for this type of event.

While I totally agree with you that Congress should’ve told the FBI not to tear apart the crime scene, how do we know that they didn’t? I think that’s a question that needs to be asked of the congressmen who are upset with the FBI… Did they ask the FBI to keep control of the crime scene so they also could look at it? Considering they allowed the family to take the body so quickly that the coroner himself did not know the body was released, it’s very clear. The FBI was moving quickly. At least, they are moving faster than the corner of Butler county thought they were going to move.

In addition they had laser scanning Teams out too. But obviously they wouldnt keep anything closed when they had completed all of these tasks and investigations.
