WHAT WE KNOW: The SS had a drone that they said would not fly in restricted areas, so the local LEAs offered theirs and were turned down. The SS's radios worked on frequencies that were not compatible with the locals so the local LEAs offered radios to the SS but they did not want them. The locals recorded all their radio traffic and the SS did not.The locals have provided all their texts and the SS said they dont use texting so they cant turn them over. The SS said they had to dispatch many medical calls coming into their radios, even though they said their radios were not compatible with the EMS freqs and dispatching EMS is not their job. The SS did not go to any formal meetings with the local LEAs. The roof had too much of a slope and it endangered agents lives to be up there, besides it was too hot to deploy them. It was the local LEOs that first spotted and kept track of Crooks for hours. The SS thought that he was not a threat despite him flying a drone two hours before Trump's speech over the crowd and using a rangefinder on the stage. For some reason the SS totally ignored the cops running around the building with their guns drawn. It was a LEO that fired the first shot distracting Crooks. It wasn't until Crooks turned his gun to the crowd eight shots later that they finally killed them. Why do we need the SS on these deployments when the local LEAs are better equipped and trained? This sounds like a re-run of the JFK assassination and dead men tell no tails dosent it?
@DonVideoGuy0073 ай бұрын
Yep.. it is taking on the appearance of a "sequel" of the "JFK Assassination" except that; unlike Lee Harvey Oswald did... Thomas Crooks DID NOT have a range scope attached to his rifle. The 20 year old was either "a really stupid registered Republican Party voter", and/or, he went "overbudget on his mission by buying the drone and a bucketload of ammunition" and did not have enough money to go to Walmart and buy a range scope to attach to his father's AR-15 Type rifle. The result was "a failed mission" and another escape for Trump.

To hire 10 elite professional snipers from a PMC for the next 3 months with support staff would cost less than 3m. Ignoring the fact that there are 30+ elite countersnipers that would do it for free. I wish I could say you were wrong but you aren't. If Crooks could see Trump, then the SS, at a much higher elevation, could see Crooks. Plus if the guy who took a bullet in his torso could get a clear video of Crooks from the seats, how did SS not see him long before he started shooting, let alone 16 seconds after he started shooting. I get the tree blocking the view, but the other snipers on the south barn roof had a clear view and had turned around.

The officer getting off found the shooter to be suspicious enough to radio it in, but didn't go the extra step of confronting him for being in the area. My local PD (Chesterfield Country, VA) absolutely would have confronted him "off shift" or not. Our officers are always on duty, always armed, and always carry a badge 24/7/365. As a former young F-up, I can personally attest to this fact. All of us were "deep" into our duties on and well as "off the clock". Somewhere down the line you have to find a balance of work and family or pick one. The job will eat you alive doing it for over 20yrs. My point being is there are ALWAYS bad guys and ALWAYS something to do. Your mental health has to be confronted or you will lose EVERYTHING. I've seen guys faze out for being "over committed". I can't fault him not following up on a kid wearing a tshirt and shorts looking like a dumbass. That officer could have just pulled an 18hr/24hr or whatever shift and relayed it to his buddies. He honestly didn't have to even do that. Having said all that, complacency kills.

I have a good feeling that the pressure of being pursued by the cops and the guy screaming “he’s got a gun” massively contributed to crooks missing his shot(s).
@DonVideoGuy0073 ай бұрын
That and... the fact that Crooks did not have a "range scope" (mounted monoscope device) attached to his father's AR-15 Type rifle. Listening to Jeff's audio of the bullets being discharged repeatedly, and then "taking a break to clear my mind", and then resuming listening again at .50 speed (half speed) the first 3 bullets sound the same; however, the next 5 bullets (purportedly fired by Crooks' AR-15 Type rifle) sound "completely different - close but still somewhat different". I cannot find the video posted here on YT, but a retired military sniper states that "the report" (the explosive sound of a bullet leaving the muzzle) of the first 3 bullets sound like they are "emanating from inside of a building". I rely on an expert opinion of a "trained sniper" that was not assigned to that rally.
@floh6673 ай бұрын
well he did not miss as you might know. From the shooters perspective it was just "unlucky" that trump turned his head in the exact same moment he pressed the trigger and then became a moving target which is harder to hit.
@willywonka87303 ай бұрын
see my explanation - fits with yours. I think that the SS snipers in the windows (who curiously had a clear shot at Trump while being way out of position to protect him) were suppose to do the hit on Trump and Crooks was the patsy to take the fall. However, Crooks jumped the gun when he was observed and people started screaming. So he hastily took the shots that missed and effectively warned Trump to duck. That's why the window snipers were "not in position" That's why Wray and Cheatle had no answers. Cheatle was to do the hit and Wray the cover up (notice - "no bullet found"). Their prepared script couldn't explain what had transpired.

As an A/C tech for 20 years, I've been on a thousand roofs like that. If he was there way before the rally, it is possible that he hid the rifle in the gutter just below his shooting position beforehand. That would give him the ability to walk around without a rifle, (obviously) AND the ability to scale the roof with both hands. I know for a fact there is plenty of room for a rifle in one of those gutters, they are really deep sometimes, and they have a lip that curls back toward the roof. It would be easily missed if you were not looking hard enough.

There is no way for this guy to just randomly know which building would be wide open for him to scale to shoot from. You don't just walk up to the one place that 'forgot' to get covered or stash something there the day before because the Secret Service would search and secure those buildings. He was given a heads up of the uncovered building by someone either in the Secret Service or the Sheriff's office. There was zero reason that building wasn't secure, much less for him to magically pick right.

They may have stopped multiple attempts to do something like this and didn't even know that they stopped an assassination attempt. Someone should have been on the building. The fact that there was zero instant and coordinated communication between local LE outside the fence and SS inside the fence rendered the local LE virtually useless. So obvious it cannot be a case of stupidity or incompetence. This video of the shooter (1:23) was taken in the late afternoon. How could I know? Whitestown Road runs virtually east-west and thus the camera is looking eastward. The shadows from the tiny white sign on the right and the white-shirted walker on the left are almost directly away from the camera and thus the sun was to the west almost directly aligned with the roadway. Mid to late afternoon?

Yes, and like was reported (filmed) earlier, the sniper team on the southern barn (who had a view of Crooks) had TURNED their rifles to the north at some point before all this started. Obviously the KNEW there was an incident going on, and they might have to shoot. So if they knew, SS knew, and so the Trump detail knew too. There were no snipers anywhere there. There is no such thing as a police or swat or secret service sniper. They have sharpshooters. They have marksmen. They do NOT have snipers. Shooting a long rifle at distance does not make someone a sniper. Sniper is a hunter killer of men. Only military are snipers period. They go through crazy training to earn that title and shooting a rifle is only a small part of it. Military units even have designated marksmen to take long range shots that are not snipers and are not called such. Words.Matter.

I have been puzzling over the sound signature discrepancies. My best guess would be that since there is about 5 seconds between the 2 shot-strings, crooks moved enough to affect the echo off of the rooftop. As a musician you may be able to visualize the metal roof as a sounding board that reflects the blast of the rifle shots. The brass from crooks rifle was found - 3 on the south slope of the rooftop and 5 on the north slope. Some people have been saying that they think there were 2 assassins based on the sound, but I think not.

@JHmusician72 Your spot on JH - if you look up Mike Adams (the health ranger) analysis from audio from Trumps mic on stage, he did some sophisticated analysis and determined shots from 3 different distances. He actually calculated the estimated feet away for each. The patsy was the closest, then mid range was about the water tower length and then one even further away. He is a smart scientific guy and proved there were multiple bad guys....check his video out.
@Bubba-wx7lp3 ай бұрын
@JH Correct sir. That Sunday after morning,I counted the shots on a KZbin video,over + over. The first 3 shots, ( first hit Trump) were measured ( experienced shooter, probably the figure on Watertower),and different from the very rapid 5 shots from his AR-15 (.556 chambered) then, there was a single shot.Then ,followed by the 2 large bore sniper shots. After his burst of 5 shots, I'm convinced roof shooter, his rifle jammed,. But,what everyone seems to be ignoring,was the video of the sniper team.They both had scopes on roof shooter. At the first 3 shots,they both slid away from their guns.Sniper in prone position was spotter, but he was also scoped with the main sniper,on roof shooter,but they didn't shoot. Watch,again, after first 3 measured shots,both the snipers slid away from their rifles.Very clear,neither had shot,and one of the Senators who was grilling the director of SS,who quit,about them having him in scopes,but not shooting.
@VictorMarines063 ай бұрын
Based on every other audio analysis I've read, it sounds like there is a 4th sniper team that hasn't really been acknowledged in the Secret Service congressional hearing. The two Secret Service teams behind Trump (camera view, on top of roof), then one local law enforcement team several hundred yards away in front of Trump (behind the camera view), and one local law enforcement team inside the building behind the shooter. There are pictures from the 3rd team showing the rifle and it was suppressed. I think the two Secret Service teams fired but didn't hit, the 3rd team fires and hits the shooter, and then as he is rolling around the team in the building takes one final shot from the window.

Upon reviewing the text message you shared in your video, I observed that the individual in question was utilizing a 5G+ signal. It is important to note that AT&T is the sole carrier that employs this technology, which utilizes millimeterwave frequencies capable of delivering speeds of up to 1 Gbps. This is particularly noteworthy given the context of the conversation, where the Secret Service was discussing poor cellular service. Furthermore, the individual’s signal exhibited complete 5G coverage. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that law enforcement personnel, including my brother, who is a police officer, have access to a specialized cellular service provided by AT&T known as First Responder Cellular Service. This service grants law enforcement priority access to towers, ensuring that they receive uninterrupted service during periods of congestion. This priority is based on their essential role as first responders. I believe this aspect is of significant importance and should be brought to the attention of the public.

5G is awful. You have to be within 100 yards of a tower/repeater to get bandwidth better than 4G and as soon as you leave that area your bandwidth drops off rapidly to 3G speeds, and eventually no service. 5G severely diminishes our weather forecasting accuracy and, get this, interferes with aircraft approach radar. Awful mobile data service with horrendous, potentially fatal and catastrophic effects. It never should have left prototype. 5G should have been a failed R&D project.

Jeff, great analysis. For the 2 possible options you lay out as to how the shooter accessed the roof of the building from which he fired the shots, the AC-horizontal rungs access doesn't seem likely since it would have been in plain sight of the group who eventually attempted to alert police to "someone on the roof", i.e. the people on the elevated position next to the building. The AC-shed access seems to provide the best opportunity to access the roof without being noticed by security or event attendees.

How do you have experience analyzing real gunshots?
@ronaldgreene57332 ай бұрын
Only the first three shots can be identified based upon striking people and a lift vehicle which can all be accounted for by the first three bullets. Audio analysis conducted by the KZbin channel Peak Prosperity demonstrates the first 3 shots having a 0.22 second delay between the supersonic crack of the passing bullet and the rifle report indicating a range of about 480 yds. See his video with the words Audio Analysis in the title. Thomas Crooks however lay on a building at a distance of about 140 yards, less than one third this distance. The later shots assumed to be from Mr. Crooks don't have the same audio signatures at all and they are missing the supersonic crack of the passing bullet so that a bullet cannot be confirmed for any of the later shots. Add the fact that all security and law enforcement personnel stood down regarding Mr. Crooks until 8 shots had been heard in spite of repeated notification from witnesses of his presence on the roof with a weapon. Rather than a conspiracy involving all of these people to commit harm, this has the fingerprints of a security exercise. This may not make sense, but it makes even less sense to believe that all these people agreed to harm the president by intent. By a security-related narrative, they were convinced that no harm would come to anyone in the conduct of such an exercise. Rather than for training purposes, security exercises of this nature are nominally to better determine public response to a real event in the future. A parallel agenda can then be served to create the impression that such events are normal today and to be expected. In certain cases, rather than entirely orchestrating an event, circumstances can be created by such an exercise so that one or a few more corrupt individuals can take advantage to function with intent under a different given supporting narrative and commit real acts of violence by some means. Another familiar example Another obvious example as a security exercise is the event that took place in Vegas, where thousands of rounds of heavy caliber gunfire are heard in audio. However, during all of that heavy gunfire, not a single strike against pavement or walls is heard in audio, something impossible to avoid when targeting people from up above. Victims appeared at one point in video as part of the crowd moved away, already being treated on the ground. However, no one seemed to realize until that moment that they were hit -- when were they hit and why weren't people hysterical and trying to run away? Instead, people wandered around as if it wasn't real, as nothing they saw or heard made any sense to them. A man was heard on video saying that the gunfire appeared to be coming from the outdoor concert sound system. A few people were actually injured according to one independent report, but by small arms fire, rather than heavy caliber that can cause horrific wounds that are often not survivable.

When you spend a few hours REALLY digging into all of the information that's out there about this incident, it just continues to get worse and worse. There's no way (in my opinion, at least) that anyone still capable of researching, critically analyzing evidence and forming their own, genuine opinions, could possibly look into this and come away believing that there was no malicious involvement on behalf of the secret service and other federal agencies. There are roughly 2 to 3 DOZEN different individual "bombshell" facts about the events tied to and on that day, each of which on their own would individually be enough to drive across the point that this was an obvious setup from the top-down. When you take all of them into consideration as a whole, it's utterly overwhelming. Watching the CSPAN coverage of the senate hearing they had with the new deputy director of the secret service and some bozo from the FBI (the one that took place on 30th July) might be one of the single most disgusting and rage-inducing things I've ever seen regarding our govt. 1 hr before the shooting "hey we have someone suspicious here"..... "Ah, no worries". 30min before "hey we have that same person snooping around with a range finder"..... "Ah no worries".

Hi Jeff..you know the former director of the SS, with that statement of the roof was to steep to have counter snipers on is the most suspect statement of this whole incident.Its remarkable when you show where they were stationed on the very steep roofs ..too crazy.

Someone told her to say that. She never even went to the scene, per congressional hearing.

Dave Stewarts phone was confiscated. All of the shots from it sound very tinny and the same. I think the audio was altered to make it sound like that before the phone was returned to him. Analyzing altered audio will do no good; you have to make sure it hasn't been tampered with first.

There is that.

His theory of folks pointing their phones here and there making the shots sound different does change the perspective though. This is the first time I've heard this recording pointing at the shooter the whole time so they sound the same. Changes the story.

The strange thing is once the ESU officer shot at Crooks, there's no more shot for ten seconds. What happened to Crooks? Was he retreating, planning to escape, planning to surrender? He was already exposed. Was he coming down the slope? Why did the CS wait for ten seconds before shooting? They had heard the preceding 9 shots. The coroner's report can confirm the locations of bullet wounds and calibre of bullets. I don't think the first shots sounded the same as the next five, just the same volume as they came from nearly same distance almost in line of fire. The recordings from many other sources showed a definite difference.

Maybe Crooks kept his head down below the roof’s apex and could not be seen by any sniper until he popped up a bit?

He probably ducked down after the first return fire shot, and only when he looked up to turn around could they shoot him. But the Hercules snipers on the south barn had turned his way (north) many, many minutes before the shooting started. They were initially turned to the south, and the other Hercules team were watching the north (those that could not see Crooks for the tree). So if they knew ahead of time that there is a danger from the north, why did they never see neither the run across the roof, not shoot at him immediately as he fired (at least!) ? All this is too weird to compute.

Why didn’t FBI or SS ask immediately for the public’s help afterward with video, photo or eyewitness evidence? Seems like something the authorities always want after a crime with potential witnesses

What’s MOST disturbing to me is the first cop that texted ‘hey, there’s a shady character lurking about’ but MY SHIFT IS OVER. I GOTTA BOUNCE!’ Who does that? Even in a regular job, when there is unfinished business at the office (and your job is NOT public safety - preventing a mass shouting or other crime)…a normal, professional person/employee says…I will stay a little extra to finish the job and does it! That cop demonstrated horrific judgement and was selfish in his actions to leave. Also, he says ‘he saw me with my rifle so he knows you are up there’ Why would the shooter think that? He doesn’t know there is a ‘shift change’ All he knows is a cop left the scene and because he just left rather than approach him, for all he knows the coast is clear, which, because the cop left, it was!! He could have just walked over and confronted him! I believe he shirked his responsibility and obviously allowed the guy to elude further detection, until he was spotted again! And that officer, too, abdicated his responsibility. He should have kept eyes on him and radioed someone else to go confront the guy. That way, when he left the area where he was spotted and they had eyes on him, the cop could have said, ‘hey, he’s leaving the position and headed in such and such a direction.’ These cops are from Pennsylvania, the Keystone state, and really showed through their poor judgement, lack of urgency & responsibility, they really are fumbling, bumbling ‘keystone cops!’ They like to play swat team dress up, but when it comes to doing the actual job, they fail miserably.

Why on earth would they do a shift change so close to when Trump is going to take the stage? Possible for 1 or 2 people being distracted at a critical time.

Because the people that weren’t in on it were leaving and the ones that were part of the assassination were getting set in place to allow it to all go down….

Those first 3 DO NOT sound like the 5 shots. The first 3 sounded muffled, as if they came from a different caliber or, at a greater distance than the following 5 rounds.
@nunninkav3 ай бұрын
no, there is an obstruction like a wall. The forensics on the timing show all 8 shots came from a similar distance.
