I'm a Lutheran Christian by upbringing. I abandoned God over 20 years ago out of anger and ignorance but last year, after chasing after false prophets, teachings of new age and self-help without ever finding peace I found God again for God never abandoned me. This is the first time in 25 years that I feel hopeful and at peace. I love your videos and how you are able to tell these biblical stories and lessons by making them so relatable that we find ourselves in those very stories.Thank you for great content. God bless!

I am a gentile believer in Yeshua, and I began to read and study the Torah portions a few months ago. One of the most helpful aids to my study and understanding is the variety of ideas and viewpoints regarding each portion that are available. This video is one such resource. The Bible truly is deep and profound. Thank you.

Hey Greg. Happy this video is a resource. That was our intention. God bless you as you study through the Torah

@@SOBEIT32AD Torah is ONLY the first 5 books of the BIBLE. Also the name gentile refers to unbelievers biblically. A believer is no longer a gentile.

I don't want to burst your bubble but Check this out Abraham's narrative had nothing to do with Jesus. That's your interpretation about Isaac being similar like Jesus as "atonement". It's absurd. Why do you think is the real reason? a sacrifice? NOPE. God is not a blood thristy creator. It's a matter of interpretation. The narrative story of Jesus as Christianity portrayed it is 100% similar like the pagan nations. See Below, My Jewish brothers and sisters, I have done my research about Christianity. FYI: Hinduism can claim the same thing with Budda. Needless to say, Horus deity from Egypt also has the same parallel with Jesus using the Jewish Bible narratives. Explain why Budda and Horus has the same parallel story like Jesus. People need to know other religion to know that Christianity has adopted pagan doctrines from the nations. What are the parallel story with Jesus with Horus and Budda? 1) They had 12 disciples 2) They performed miracles like walking in water, feed thousands, expel demons etc 3) They had 31/2 Ministry before they die 4) They died and resurrected in the third day 5) They resurrected the dead 6) They were called healers and shepherd 7) They were also called "Saviors" 8) They are expected to return to save Humanity. Horus and Budda are expected to return 9) They preached the gospel of peace and love 10) They also preached restoration through a reincarnation/resurrection of the soul not body 11) They preached about "blood human sacrifice" to atone for sins. 12) Horus was a Savior to save people who repented from the underworld/hell 13) Horus was a son of the Creator embedded in a trinity Godhead. Isis, Osiris As ONE God. Also called the "family triad as 3 in One" or trinity. Horus also called "divine child" like Jesus. 14) Horus and Budda were called the way, truth, and life 15) Horus will destroy death and bring life and will destroy his brother Seth (Satan) in battle 16) Horus depicted as a demigod in the flesh on earth like Jesus. 17) Horus received the Holy Spirit through baptism in water, in the Nile River. 18) Horus will defeat his brother (Seth as Satan) and become king after his death.

I can relate as a father to this important story in Genesis 22. I am a crier, like you, Yoel 🤣Abraham was courageous in his obedience. Thank God, that He provided a ram as a sacrifice in the place of Isaac - a prophetic and powerful picture of God sending Yeshua as the final Passover Lamb to pay for our sins ❤❤❤

that was definitely a forshadowing, with isaac also having to carry the wood that would be used for sacrificing him on his back up the hill.

My favorite one is Job.. He is put through the ringer. Yet the story is about what takes place between God and Lucifer. And the Forth person that recorded it...Which is unknown...

Hello Christian here. I love the Word of God. I'm very thankful there's only one God and He is righteous and holy and just as well as merciful and loving and never changing and can't lie. In fact God can't sin it's impossible. Amen. In Revelation the new heaven and earth are mentioned. The new Jerusalem will be 200 square miles up in the holy mountain. It will have 12 pearl gates for the 12 tribes of Israel. The streets will be pure gold. That's only Jerusalem imagine the rest of the new heaven and earth. Moses and Abraham and David and Jesus Himself will be there with us forever. There will never be sin again only righteousness. As surely as the Bible is right about everything it is right about that. Give thanks for everything and be the light of God in the world. Don't hang on to your sins you're forgiven for everything forever. Amen.

@@SOBEIT32AD 18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; 19 to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.” 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”[d] 22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. 25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks.

Yitz’chak spoke to Avraham his father: “My father?” He answered, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “I see the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” Avraham replied, “God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son”; and they both went on together.

Abraham not only believed that God would raise Isaac from the dead, wouldn't he also have believed that God could recreate him since he was going to be the burnt offering?
@nakiaboyr61962 жыл бұрын
One, to see if Abraham would believe by faith and two... what He (Yehovah) would do through Yeshua for all those who would turn back to the Elohim of Abraham and sh'ma the Word. John 8:56 “Your father Aḇraham was glad that he should see My day, and he saw it and did rejoice.”

God did ask Abraham to kill his son in offering to God. God wanted Abraham (human) what the feelings is, how it feels, how dreaded would it be to take away his son from him by killing in obedience to God's word. And then, God sent his Son into the world to save the world. But people took his Son away from Him and killed his Son.

That was great too! Imagine what it would be like to be Isaac? It doesn't seem to be a typical father and son day together. Did Isaac believe that he too can be resurrected? It reminds me of one of those moments in life when you ask yourself the question: "do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you." moments. 😁 It's educational imo.
@SOBEIT32AD2 жыл бұрын
Yes I’m sure it was challenging to Isaac even though there was no resistance by him recorded in the text. The text also doesn’t mention that Isaac thought he could be resurrected. It’s interesting that the young men that came along with Abraham and Isaac were told by Abraham that he and Isaac would go worship and then come back. This is all a wonderful foreshadowing of God sacrificing his Son.

The cost of following Jesus is too great. He could ask us to do something immoral and we would have to do it. I'm not willing to do immoral things to please God. I guess that means I have to go to hell, but so be it.
