The simplest explanation is that this was before the box was opened and the gods went insane and thus Hades, though grief stricken over his wife, was still objective enough to recognize that it needed to be done and harbored no ill will against Kratos, at least not to the point of letting it interfere with fulfilling his duty to Olympus to help deal with Ares.

Well god of war 1 and 2 are 15 years apart and I don't really think anyone other than zeus Athena and some minor gods got affected because we don't always see the fear leave from everyone like we do with zeus because Helios says all the gods turned crazy but he must be conscious enough to remember so Helios was not affected that's for sure and I do believe Hades was also not affected and Poseidon as well we also see poseidons note that he wrote before the war began so he was also not affected

Time saver answer: Hades' grudge against Kratos was not planned in the first game. This chain of events was created much later, making the first game somewhat inconsistent with the rest of the series.

Chains of Olympus might be a prequel but the story seemed a little off from that game. The Introduction of Morpheus and Persephone while executed just fine, CoU didn’t take account the plot of GoW1.
