Why did I keep my hospital bands after I was diagnosed with cancer?

When I was initially diagnosed, no one thought I could reach no evidence of disease. So I starting keeping my hospital bands and told myself if I ever managed to reach it one day, I would do something special with them. That day came and it was time to find these bands a home.
