India has chosen several Russian systems for all the 3 forces. None of these have performed well in the Ukraine theater. Cost factors and supply constraints play a part in the selections and quality alone is not a consideration .Since the 1965 war Indias armed forces have to contend with superior armaments possessed by the adversary. More recently in 2019 ,Indias Mig 21 faced off with THE F16. Perhaps this situation will continue in the future also as there are media reports of India acquiring the Russian Su 57, to counter the Chinese J35 being supplied to Pakistan. Since India has been unable to obtain the F35 from the US for various reasons. Su 57 was earlier evaluated by the India Air Force and rejected as it didnt meet it standards. Turkey likewise did the same and also rejected it for the same reasons.

First of all its not better than Rafale.. if u know the EW of Rafale u wouldnt comment this.. Nd secondly, no independent nations wants US jets.. bcoz US is famous for its armtwisting mechanics.. so no thanku.. india doesnt want murican jets.. u can sell them to ur vassal states.. india is NOT a US vassal like Japan, UK, S.Korea..
