Very informative and well balanced as usual, I just have one question: Lieberman wanted a stronger response against Hamas than Netanyahu? Or vice versa? Could you please explain this?

As with politics, it comes down to how you want to spin it. You can check out the sources we cite (link in the comments) to read more about this.

@a v I don't trust either of them, although I think the Ultra-Orthodox should definitely not be exempt. Israel should not have protected classes.
@snakey934Snakeybakey5 жыл бұрын
@a v yes, well, it's already a messy situation. We are a small country with big problems already, and it will be hard to get anything done given our current political system, where there are so many different parties, and only a few of them propose viable solutions.
@snakey934Snakeybakey5 жыл бұрын
@a v indeed. Israel the American model works much better for Israel than the Western European model. The same goes for American Constitutional freedoms, separation of powers, and Legal system.

One question why did the parties agree to a new election if they are against Netanyahu ? They could have formed a govt without since nethanyahu only has 35 seats
@UNPACKED4 жыл бұрын
They didn't have much of a choice. The President gives the mandate to someone to form a government, and the Likud managed to convince enough MKs to vote to disband the Knesset. Once that happened no one can form a government since there is no Knesset. Blue and White also only had 35 seats and likely wouldn't have been able to form one at the time either.

Yeah, love him so much that you're set to annex territory in the Jordan Valley. Good idea. Question? When you annex the West Bank will you also give the Palestinians citizenship? If not that is apartheid, if so, that is the end of a Jewish state. Suggestion? Work for two states.

@a v people like you place ideology ahead of what works. Spare me your bullshit "there never was a blah blah state and ever will be." Who cares? There never was a Venezuelan state, there is one now. There never was South Sudan, now there is. Who cares? I don't care about narratives, I care about solutions. That's all very well and fine, may I ask you what you expect: You don't want a Palestinian state. What do you propose then? There are millions of Palestinians living under a Military occupation and military administration/law. If you annex this territory what happens to t hem? Do they become citizens? If not - we have a word for this: apartheid. If they DO become citizens they have a right to vote and you end a jewish state. I am giving you th ebest of both worlds, a two state solution with guarantees security ones, to protect each side and provide for two states for two peoples, you don't want that because you are GREEDY and you WANT LAND. You don't want peace. You want to annex territory because you think God gave it to you. The Palestinian extremists are as bad/worse they think they can erase a Jewish state and establish a Muslim caliphate etc. Those of us in the center and in our state dept and in Europe want a agreement for the two sides which ensures you both have the right to live separate lives in separate states. You're too extreme to ever see that this is best for you.
@MarkEliasGrant5 жыл бұрын
@@yakov95000 Of course you don't trust each other, you are raised from a young age to hate one another. Your cultures are equally mistrustful of each other because of how you are brainwashed. It's very sad. I have been to Jerusalem and personally witnessed the hatred from Jews, Muslims etc towards one another. It's sickening.
@MarkEliasGrant5 жыл бұрын
@a v Again: Do you want settlements and one state? If so, please keep voting likud to end a Jewish state. I wish you the best of luck in a one state solution. Please note everyone: They never, ever ever answer WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE SETTLEMENTS INTERTWINING with Arab areas? If they don't want a Palestinian state to separate from each other, what do they want? Indefinite occupation and military law for them? It can't happen.
@jakelivni95765 жыл бұрын
Mark Grant, you sound like such an ignorant foreigner, preaching on what you know not. The invading Arabs who are not citizens (and STILL call themselves refugees) are free to go home to Jordan from whence they came. Arab villages and towns in the WB are the true "illegal settlements" directly violating the Geneva conventions. You seem to be the victim of routine Lefty propaganda and don't know the history at all.
