For the same reason Prentice, Law, Odom, and Bond (last year) left. They get no carries or passes because Milroe can't hit open receivers or read defenses, and always calls his own number. If Milroe stays, expect a mass exodus.

@johnsimpson4641 He's starting so imagine how lost the others QBs are. Go watch the South Florida game from 2023 with NICK SABAN coaching. I think what most of you are trying to say is that you like vanilla offense with a game manager. Deboer's requires the ball to be thrown to spots and reciever has to read the coverage also. Hence, professional level of qb and receiver on the same page. That's why Bernard got the numbers he got. He knew the offense. Oh, go look at Michael Penix Jr. pass protection at Washington. But I'm trying to express this to a college fanatic...and Tim Tebow is the greatest college qb to ever touch the field. Hell, people said Lamar Jackson was not a qb and without goggle most people don't know where Patrick Mahomes went to college. So, with said, I will let you all have it. I'll be back to talk about the 20.5 million dollar salary cap and team will manage that.

Ala looks like early 2000's Bama. Huge fan here, watched every game since 2005. Alabama losing its champion lure, players are choosing to go elsewhere and the biggest challenge is NIL whereas Alabama doesn't crack the top 10 in NIL money and then + the soft coaching = Average to slightly above average teams each year but no longer a threat to win a championship and it's a very sad thing to accept & witness but it's still Roll Tide

He should've stuck it out till next year (assuming Milroe doesn't come back) because much of the running game was being used by Milroe with QB runs. If Milroe leaves, Justice gets more chances next year, no matter who the new QB is, whether it be: Simpson, Mack, or Russell. They're all much more passers than runners, so Haynes was pretty much guaranteed more runs next year if he had stuck it out & Milroe leaves.

And Milroe has a limited passing skillset which not only curbs how many passes 4/5 star receivers get, he also takes off to run a lot. Rb’s are either blocking or watching more than running. The answer is freaking obvious. They don’t like the direction this offense is taking their touches/abilities.

IT is obviously "TOUGH" for the majority of fans to understand(TIDE people in particular in this example)but the fact is that the Portal,of which I totally despise,is a actually a true "2-way Street".. That means there are players(Families...Agents) making the sole decision to leave a program for ,what can be, a multitude of reasons. And it takes about 5 minutes to get the snow ball rolling downhill.OR it can be the Coaches who get the ball rolling downhill on the other side. It is so easy these days and IT CAN be a mutual decision,of which I believe may have happened here.I dont believe for a second that the Offensive Brain Trust for the Organzation(Upper and Lower)want Justice to come back. He knows that. Coach was,More than Likely, very honest and blunt with him in their "Sit-Down". Justice was probably the same. I am sure he feels "Under-Utilized".And Quite possibly he was. I cried all year about attempting to get him or Jam "lathered" up more in games. However,in my observations, and I trust my knowledge more than anyone else's. Here it is: *Justice is just an average back.. *Decent size and good strength *Lacks Quickness in and out of the holes, out of cuts and breaks, and NEVER runs like his training films.. *Lacks explosiveness and short-area and Top End speed *Can catch the ball, but was a VERY poor in Pass-Pro at times *He can lower on guys If in the mood, like against Mizzu, but most times does not,and I cant remember him making very(ANY) many people miss. *He doesnt have ANY ability,or notion,to change gears at all. I hope he finds a place that is beneficial for his potential development. He has a LOT to work on and improve on. I guess there was a chance he was never 100% healthy. We will find out I suppose.

Whenever a player won't finish one last game of the season to a "transfer portal" is either not committed to the program, a sore loser or the media is all in his head... When Saban was coach of Alabama...he never lost players, because knew how to handle the media. Saban would tell his players to "Never" buy in to what the media is saying about this football team. Because they can make you feel that no one can beat you. A good example: Saban had won a conference game , but it wasn't what the media expect. They didn't blow the team out. Saban told them off by saying.... you'll expect us to win big, ...and if we don't win by 30 points... then something is wrong. So...Someone is in this running back ear, telling him to leave and not play the last game. The college football transfer portal just weakens a players mind to not be a fully committed player to the end. Every team has to go through the same thing.
