Why Did MCCIsland & TubNet Fail?

In this video, we will discuss two famous Minecraft servers: TubNet, and MCCIsland. Both servers saw lots of hype and were praised as the next Hypixel. But now just a few years later, neither has made any particular progress and is seeing fewer players. What led to their decline? And can these Minecraft servers see more growth in thee future? Considering MCC island has still got a closed amount of people for beta testing, it is far from dead. Plus there is likely much more content to come within the server.

Considering I can play any game and get in a lobby, yeah they seem genuine. Some games are less popular but battle box and sky battle are pretty popular

I am everywhere I guess. 7:34 another big point about Tubnet is that they announced Spacebound, "an MMO" without it being anywhere near completion. It's impossible to say whether the release of Spacebound will rebound Tubnet, but its very clear that if they had a beta ready at launch a larger community could have formed around grinding spacebound. MCCI was in closed beta for almost a year and only just recently opened to the public. There are times during each day right now that you can't get on because it's at maximum capacity.

imo MCC Island is still huge, and they aren't even trying to get lots of advertising or anything because it's still in closed beta. Once it becomes open beta, then I might get worried if it isn't great. Also, about it being a scheme, people can still get in for free. If people pay, then they find it worth it. Do you think every Minecraft server with ranks that they need people to buy so they can improve and upkeep the server is a "scheme"? A lot of people do get in from the admission ticket too, and it won't be in closed beta for forever. It's not been around for too long so you saying "it's no wonder they never opened it to the public" I also doubt people are using their parents credit cards. You can wait until the next day for items to restock, and if you don't want to wait and buy the more expensive one you get a permanent rank. Hundreds of players online at a time is great for it still being closed beta and not been hyped up too much by big content creators. Once big MCC creators make videos on it instead of just live streams, it'll probably grow exponentially. Hypixel is dying as new players will go to newer versions, and more people are switching over so I doubt their player count will stay that high for long. There isn't too much marketing around MCC Island yet, just like you said with Tubnet. Thank you for saying the MCC Island games are unique though! Sorry for the long comment lol, just got annoyed when you were downing the server that helped my Twitch grow a lot and that I'm on the bigger end of active MCCI streamers. Skybattle is unique tho imo, you have infinite blocks and there aren't kits and pretty unique styles of maps. There is also a decent community of small MCC Island streamers that help keep the community alive. Huge props to the texture designers of both servers, they are both really cool. Nice editing tho, a voice reveal would be cool eventually as the ai voice gets old really quick.

I got admitted to MCCI, and I play it every now and then, and since it's not completely public, it probably doesn't have the highest player count, but even then sometimes the server nearly crashes, or puts a bunch of players in the same lobby TubNet on the other hand is just boring asf

Mcc island It's the best Minecraft server I've ever played. It's only a close beta but there are 300-600 players most times. If it's open beta + new mini game parkour warriors. I guess the server will get the number of players 1k-3k i think

MccI isn't dead the community is alive and it's still in closed beta there are 2 games promised for open beta (ace race and pw) and overall many players will probably flood to the server upon open beta

@@nughm9345 Nope, I still didn't get in and applied in the start. My friend got in tho, so I think it's just that they had a specific number of people they wanted on the server and are slowly making the number bigger, which means they won't accept everyone.
