I always hear about Kaga drama but never know what really happened, great video btw, 1st time I hear about some things about Kaga 👍 All I know about Kaga drama is a group of elitists who think he's a genius & FE is worse after him which I disagree with entirely, they hold his games at higher pedestal than the games after him leaving, which is fine bc opinions & all, imo Geanology was fine, so was Thracia but they were very flawed & while they introduced cool mechanics they also were a chore to play & needed more work to fine tune their gameplay. I'd rather play anything after FE 5 lol. Besides every game he worked on after his departure from IS is.. fine ig but nothing special. People need to treat game making as a group creation not a 1 individual work. FE has never been better nowadays & I'm glad it's still on going. Lol sorry about the rant, I know the video said nothing of what I am talking about but I had to get it out.

@@Nighttale233 nah, newer games are much better & that's why they sell well, also they had good ads unlike older ones & good release dates . Waifus existed since the beginning, FE 4 alone had so many fan service characters that I'm sure if it ever gets a remake then elitists would stop this bullshit about only recent games having fan service, not to mention FE4 is the game that started the "marriage" system.

@@Nighttale233 out of Camilla & Charlotte; Fates has no other female fanservice iirc. People gotta accept that FE has always had fanservice & Fates isn't that different from the norm. FE4 alone introduced the entire waifuism & marriage to FE! Even the newest title 3H has almost none & marriage is left as optional at the very end. Personally I don't like fanservice at all & I think it detracts from the writing, FE doesn't need it since they are stories about war, look at how amazing the story of Triangle Strategy is with 0 fanservice, that's how I want FE stories to be like.

Let's not forget characters like Rhajat and Orochi. They may not be on Camilla and Charlotte's level in design, but they were drawn to be more fanservicey and wear just as revealing outfits and easily fit the fanservice and waifu niche that you brought up for the previous titles. It also doesn't ignore that Fates and awakening went up and beyond with the fanservice elements of any previous fire emblem game with the ability to S support child units, giving characters swimsuits, having hot springs, and not to mention even petting your S support unit like they were a pokemon (even though that was toned down in the US release it still was a feature where you can interact with said unit by "waking them up" with touch screen functions) "Always had fanservice" can be applied to any jrpg by that logic if you only go by the female characters alone. Fates and awakening are the games that one upped all of this from previous entries while older games had brief dialogue and had more canonical pairings. Awakening brought back older fans surely, but it was the start of diving deep into the waifu culture. Then fates did it much worse with features like hot springs, no less adding the anime trope where you can "accidentally" walk into the opposite gender's hot spring. I give three houses credit where due though, but a lot of its direction is influenced by Koei Techmo in this iteration iirc. It still had the waifu like designs and even has older women crush on Byleth (i.e Manuella). It may have gotten rid of the child unit stuff, but now IS is just milking three houses for what it's worth and is sticking all the more fanservice elements from previous fire emblem games into the mobile game.
