Why did the Buddha introduced another teaching

This third part of Introducing Buddhism covers some of the more common doctrinal aspects of Buddhism. In the first question by a panel of Buddhist leaders, the question "Why did the Buddha introduced another teaching even when there were numerous philosophy and religion in existance during his time" was explained by Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda.
Although Buddhism is the religion of nearly one fifth of the world's population, there are many misunderstandings about its Doctrine and Practice. The most Venerable Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Maha Thera together with Ven. Dr, H. Gunaratana, Ven. K. Wimalajothi and Ven. Wimala answered various questions put to them by a panel of well-known Buddhist leaders.
