Why Did the Sand Dredger Penfret Visit Sharpness

Ships visit the port of Sharpness with a cargo or in ballast to take cargo away. The Penfret did neither, simply arriving in ballast, why?

A shorter film, but with the real reason behind the title revealed. Still the same production values of the quietly told story, involving video and well selected music. I shall be back, if briefly, in Gloucester later this week and these films remind me of my thirty years living in the area, where we brought up our children and had so many happy times. These films I enjoy with a glass of wine, a contented smile and delight at learning things I had never appreciated before.

I remember when they replaced this with the Argabay and the lads were very excited about a trip down to France to crew her back to Newport! Much better accommodation than the old arga.

@@knutarneaakra6013 - I agree, yes it is rude to use someone else's photo without asking or crediting them - it's also copyright.

Main reason is that I tried to find the originator of the photo with no luck. I no longer use the pic in current films and slowly am removing old films to replace them with new footage. My apologies.
