The mess inside of the long pipe is lint from a clothes dryer. I have same issue, but pull vent cover off roof and move dryer and blow out pipe with leaf blower, saves money by allowing moisture to escape out of dryer and reduces fire hazard and often stops overheat sensor from burning out.

I was looking at some of your earlier posts and thought I pass along a tip. I worked for a utility company in Rochester, NY for 35 years. Most, if not all new ranges, have oven doors that can be removed without using any tools. Open the door about 6" or so, and you'll notice it will stop and stay in place. At this point, grab the door by the sides about 6 to 8" from the top and lift at the same angle the door is at. It will come right off. That will remove several pounds and make a hole for more "stuff"

I work in a restaurant. The other day my boss was grumbling. I asked him what's the matter. He was upset because the venders who sell new refrigerators, ovens, grills, fry vats etc. don't offer free removal of the old equipment any more. He called around and found the cheapest he could pay to have someone haul away all the old kitchen equipment was around $500. Imagine the brownie points I earned when I offered to do it for $100. That covered the cost of renting a truck and hiring my buddy to help me load and unload. So, all together 8 pieces of equipment, much with copper coils and tons of copper wiring and 90% of the rest being steel I took it to my local scrap yard and that got me $372 for the steel (more than one trip) and $37 for the copper and $6 for some aluminum add to that the $100 my boss paid subtract $65 for truck rental and $50 to my buddy and I netted $400 for six hours of work and my boss is very happy and my buddy is very happy to be fifty dollars richer and now I have an agreement with my boss to do all his scrap metal removal. He's buying more equipment first quarter next year should yield me another $200-$300
