WHY DIDN'T HE LET ME USE THE RAMP? | ILLEGAL?

UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT CLICKBAIT. IM SHOWING YOU HOW WE GOT TO LONDON BY TRAIN IN MY WHEELCHAIR. WE WENT TO SEE DISNEYS ALADDIN IN THE WEST END. IT WAS AMAZING AND WE HAD A GRATE DAY. THE LAST CAB WE TOOK BACK TO THE TRAIN STATION WOULDN’T TAKE MY WHEELCHAIR (EVEN TOUGH HE HAD A RAMP) HE WAS JUST BEING LAZY AND DIDN’T WANT TO GET OUT! UNFORTUNATELY THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! IT IS ALSO ILLEGAL, HE WASN’T TIPED, AND HE WILL BE REPORTED TO TRANSPORT FOR LONDON.
I wanted to show you this, as discriminations still happens, and I wanted to show you how having a disability can really limit your choices in life. Im always the glass half full kinda girl, so it didn’t put a damper on my day. I just have to rise above it.
After suffering my spinal cord injury i have really had to adapt in life. So Im sowing you my disability lifestyle to raise disability awareness. as a disabled woman and a woman in a wheelchair who is paralysed, I thought it would be interesting for you to see, and hopefully give you some inspiration and motivation so that you can live more independently. wether you are paraplegic or quadriplegic i hope that i can help you.
i have lots of interesting disability videos, a lot of videos on how to cope with a disability and living life in a wheelchair, wether you are a girl boy woman or man. i have some paraplegic exercise videos, and advice. its important to keep your fitness levels up as much as possible as this can when physically and mentally with depression.

I just got home from a few days in London to see Hamilton on the west end, London is a nightmare in a wheelchair I really can’t stand it but I do find the theatres are incredible for the disabled. We had a separate entrance and disabled toilet plus we had one person assigned to us who bought a brochure of the merchandise and then he went to get what we wanted so we didn’t have to go there which helps because both me and my best friend have ME. I hate that your cab on the way home was so awful to you I am glad you are reporting them because there is no excuse. Happy birthday to your sister I am so glad you all had so much fun xx

I just came back from an amazing weekend in London. To my opinion it was very accessible !! Have had disabled toilets even in small restaurants. We took a black cab from StPancras station to our flat in Hackney, and initially the driver looked a bit annoyed he had to pull out his ramp, but afterwords he was really nice, and joked about the ramp not being used much. For the rest of the weekend we took many busses, and they are an AMAZING form of accessible transport. They all have an automatic ramp which comes out and in really quick, so you don't feel guilty about delaying the other passengers.

I use a mobility scooter, and on my trip to London last year, I faced incredibly discrimination by taxi drivers! They refused to stop for me at all! I had people helping me flag them down, and when they'd stop and see that I was the one who needed a ride, they'd shake their head and leave. The only way I was able to take a taxi, was to use my hotel's taxi calling service, or find a line of them by a train station. I did notice that foreign drivers were better. They didn't care if I needed the ramp, they wanted the money! The hassle of getting a taxi wasted lots of my time and energy and left me sobbing at times. And I'm not even completely immobile! I can get off of my scooter and step up into a taxi! And my scooter folds down!

This is so sad to hear. I know exactly how you must have felt. This has to change. I rang the black cab (association?) and they said its illegal not to take you. The all have a ramp. They are being lazy or just ignorant. grrrr so mad!!!

Love the vlog's :) Have you been to the Lion King already? And I can't really see in your video, but did you and your friends and family where able to sit all together? In Belgium, often you have a wheelchair space in a theatre or concerthall, with just one companion space next to it, and your other friends have to sit elsewhere... Not really an option since we are a group of two adults and two children.

Hi there. Yes I'm a big fan of west end shows, and yes I have seen the Lyon king. Its amazing. I was in tears!!!!! Highly recommend it. When we saw Aladdin (in the vlog) yes we were all sat together. The disabled entrance was to the side of the theatre, then I sat at the end of the row, and the rest of them sat in the same row next to me. I did have to transfer out of the chair, and the attendant put it in somewhere safe during the show. The service there was amazing :) And thinking about it we always sit together. :)
