If weed is not his trigger for his drugs & alcohol abuse, then I don’t see a problem with it. People take pills for anxiety. I have friends that weed makes them want to drink, & drinking makes them want to do coke. Once on coke, they will go for days & get lost. 😞 So, I do understand it can be a slippery slope for people.

Lindsay's favorite thing to do is talk about how bad*ss Lindsay is. Her perspective on this breakup is utterly bananas. Like she's basically saying, "I was willing to do the work & he wasn't" 🙄 Umm what?!? He was trying to approach the relationship with an emotional maturity that she can't even acknowledge she lacks, let alone actually *ever* possess. I can't imagine how frustrating it was for Carl to try & maturely talk through the issues at hand, with Lindsay over here in denial-l Pand like "I'm amazing, so if there's a problem, you must b on drugs". She was in denial just wanting the fairy tale ending, ignoring the reality at hand. It seems he used every pair of kids gloves he could access to try & make the situation something it wasn't, & based on Lindsay's response to it all, never would b. Zero acknowledge of their problems, let alone any accountability for them.

Lindsay perceives and treats her boyfriends, in this case, the fiance, not as the most wonderful person in the world, whom she wants to put on a pedestal, but as a thing that she bought and this thing should work 100% for her. Lindsay squeezes all the juices out of her boyfriends until they start running away from her. This is not love. Love is when you love your fiance the way he is, and you don't constantly try to find fault with him. Apparently Lindsay won't understand this.

The problem with Kyle and Amanda is that Kyle cheated on her. Now Amanda feels like Kyle owes her and should get whatever she wants without question including being a stay at home mom which is just not feasible in this day and age for most people. She also has the backing from her parents against Kyle all the time. It’s time for Amanda to grow up IMO. It seems like none of them are happy! Amanda needs to divorce Kyle and marry an older, taller (but uglier) and richer man who never cheated on you. There’s still plenty of time for her to do this! Kyle needs to be single.

I recently rewatched the whole series and it’s shocking how manipulative and vicious Lindsey has ALWAYS been. It’s disturbing to see her lack of growth and treatment of others over years. It’s very obvious when you see it chronologically that lindsey was never a good look. she’s not just a reactive bully she has severe issues, including a binge drinking problem

This gives a lot of insight. I feel bad Lindsay thought they had to do it so soon for that reason. I get where they're both coming from kinda. For Kyle and Amanda I think there's a really big thing they need to talk about with what Kyle says here. Mainly where he says he feels like everything falls on him. I think that's more common than people realize and it CAN be fixed. It comes down to just setting realistic expectations of each other otherwise resentment will overtake it. Kyle can have a social life and a family life but it will look different snd Amanda needs to get clear about what he should expect from her and feel confident on whatever "contribution" she's making and if there's an imbalance with that now it will definitely balance more once Amanda is home with kids if that's what she wants to do or if she has other passions she wants to do while getting child care. Kyle needs to accept whatever way she envisions it and they just need clear expectations of each other. I think they can do it though and will love their family life.

So unless you're rich and can afford to support your significant other completely, then it does matter. I live in California. I can't support two people on my salary alone, especially if you want children. A lot of people can't nowadays. They have money now as reality stars but what happens when it goes away.

Kyle’s belief that it’s premature to look for a house because they don’t have children yet - is ill founded. It can take 1-2 years to find your house once you decide to start looking. Then it takes weeks/months to purchase once your offer is accepted. What if the sale falls through? You have to start again. And what if you buy a doer upper? That’s 1-2 years work to make the house suitable for children and a family. Amanda might want to spend time making a house a home.. all the stuff that’s easier to do when you don’t have a newborn or toddler running around. They have an opportunity to get ahead of the game - take it

She never considered postponing the wedding BECAUSE she realized she didn't want to marry Carl either. Lindsey just admit you were part of the problem too. The fake tears at the end of the last show were ridiculous also.

Lindsay is not blameless but how long are people going to be soft on this man child of divorce who is pushing 40s for his lack of accountability! Kyle is going to get sick of doing everything. Amanda seems a little to comfortable not doing anything except watching tv. How nice to watch tv and do nothing.

Are you kidding?? She works normal hours and Kyle works around the clock. Amanda was a full-time Senior Designer at a top international cosmetics company for 5 years and Kyle begged her to quit and lead creative direction for loverboy. She built alllll of the branding, logos, merchandise design, and even came up with the idea for their top selling beverage. He said on the show that her apparel designs are a huge moneymaker for the brand and sell out almost immediately whenever she drops new designs. Kyle works more than her because it is HIS company. The CEO can’t get mad that he’s working more than his employee lol. If he wants her to work as much as him then he should make her a co-CEO. He acts like Amanda literally can’t function without him but she had a competitive career in NYC before she met him.

Everyone handles situations differently. Lindsey should not be so critical of people not dealing with things the way she does. We are all unique and struggle to handle situations to the best way we KNOW how. A little more gentleness. People shouldn’t be ripped apart because they are different from you and what you expect. I know you come from a place of hurt as well. I do think that all things happen for a reason and I think it will manifest.
