The amount of private medical insurance is exaggerated, I call the Embassy of Nicaragua because I am planning to retire there,. The Embassy told me it will cost me $49.00 dollars a month & I can go to the best Hospitals with that insurance such as the Military Hospital. I will advise anyone who wants to retire in Nicaragua to call the Nicaraguan Embassy of their country.

You are completely wrong. Poverty is everywhere. Nicaragua is one of the Country with less pollution in the hemisphere. Nicaragua is one of the safest Ciuntry of Latinoamérica, including USA. Politics? Please tell me which country does not have any political problems? In Nicaragua, as a foreigner, if you don't get into politics, you are perfectly fine, and no one gets into your business or life. If you don't know about something, don't say anything.
