Hypothetically, if Chevy came into some hard times, they could quickly bring back the impala, change it up, and BAM, chevy has no more problems.

I have a 2019 I got for a steal during COVID and it’s been awesome. Super smooth and comfortable and powerful on long trips through British Columbia and Alberta. The only problems have been heat faded brakes (it was an ex-rental so to be expected) and it has a bit of an exhaust leak you can hear on startup. No recalls or other problems. I also rent a lot of cars and honestly the only one I found close was the Malibu. Other cars I’ve driven while owning it like the Honda Civic, Hyundai Kona, VW Atlas, Genesis G60, Ford Bronco Sport, and Toyota Camry have been disappointing in comparison.

I still have my 2011 Chevy Impala LT.... it's a pretty good car, just now having issues with it.. I'm guessing normal repair.. but, I Def had a good run with it. I call my impala my Black Beauty... but I'm hoping for a new 1..

I love this car. I live in South Korea and own a V6 2016 model. I've been on about 100,000 miles now, but there's no problem except for the mission. The cost of repairing the mission is $150, but there is a problem only when reversing on the hill, so I just leave it. In Korea, it is not popular because it is pushed back by Hyundai's azera(grandeur) and Kia's cadenza(K7). Because hyundai and kia are Korean companies, there are two to three repair shops in each village and the repair cost is very low because they want to supply parts. On the other hand, Chevy cars are difficult to supply parts and expensive to repair because they are American cars. But I like this car. Korean cars are good design and easy to drive, but they are not manly. Chevy impala is very attractive to me who pursues strength because it is very tough and strong. In Korea, the car is expensive to repair, but it doesn't break down as well as Japanese cars :) I like it very much! I'll keep riding this car until I get married.

@ronhoover55166 ай бұрын
@@gphilipc2031 Not true. That's a commonly stated misconception but anyone who's spent 2 minutes in both cars knows there's no real comparison between the two. The Impala is the real deal, is smooth, powerful and fairly reliable. Malibu is OK but more a budget option in the lower trims and its higher trims get pricey, fast. I'd pick the Impala over any version of the Malibu every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
