@ Regards at All Chinese people here.
This is very similar to beef tartare. I might like to try this with a glass of wine later on in the day. But for breakfast? ..!!

Glass of red wine is a great idea :) And it is not that common everywhere. It is more in the western rhineland region and more eaten by middleage and older people men. Most also eat it between 10 - 12 and not at 7 in the morning. In fact without the spice and onion it doesn't have much tatse.
In the 19th century, there were several trichinosis epidemics in Germany, so local laws were introduced demanding a check for trichinella. Around 1900, the law was introduced to whole Germany, reducing the nuber of cases from about 15000 each year to almost none within 50 years. According to Wikipedia, trichinellae were found in 4 pigs between 2000 and 2009, while more than 450 million pigs were slaughtered.
Actually I will be in Germany in the coming May. I might try, but it will be very challenging for me!

As I love raw salmon much more than cooked, I would definitely try this. I realized I thought the parasites/diseases were in the meat when the pig was alive. But I think those things only get introduced after the meat has been dead for awhile. That is why it must be eaten the same day. I dunno...

4:40 raw fish is actually uncommon in China. But certainly not impossible to find, but raw fish, from what I found, is usually found at Japanese restaurants.
