Having a baby is hard!!don't matter what anyone says . Being sleep deprived is no joke, just because it's hard doesn't mean you don't love your baby . People like to weird and twist things you say don't pay them no mind, you're doing a great job mama. 👏🏿

Please don’t apologize for saying your opinion on your lived experience. Having a newborn is hard, and receiving “flack” shouldn’t make you feel like you have to come back and explain yourself to those who are critical of you. You’re amazing!

As an IVF mama that exclusively pumped for my Daughter (we had latch issues) for the 1st year of her life, BE SO PROUD OF YOURSELF! It is so hard but so worth it! There were so many times I wanted to give up but so glad I didn't. Also, exclusively pumping is still considered breast feeding. ❤️ Hang in there mama, your doing great!!
@Tfowler10262 жыл бұрын
Don’t you dare apologize!! It’s been 26 years since my first child and I still remember how hard it was! The sleep deprivation is real as well as the postpartum… which now I realize how bad I struggled!

Your breastfeeding journey sounds similar to mine! Welcome to the exclusive pumping life! It’s hard but you are giving him such an amazing gift! We are 11 months strong over here, 10 of them exclusively pumping! Also can’t believe people are giving you a hard time about saying it’s hard to have a baby.. that seems rather nitpicky! Love you and will always support you!

Mama’s who exclusively pump are are rockstars! I nurse and it’s easier for me. My best friend exclusively pumps and that is easier for her. You have to find a way that works for you. You may end up nursing here and there when/if you get a clogged duct. So painful and my baby can get it out so fast!
@kelliewonch60552 жыл бұрын
Having a baby is hard! Doesn't mean you don't love being a mom. Sleep deprivation is so so hard. My kids are all older (10,12,14) and I remember those hard days/nights like it was yesterday! If people say being a mom is easy they're lying!

Coming from a brunette, I used to always want to change my hair color cause I would feel the brown hair would get dull.. but nothing beats having my natural brunette hair. I color my roots once a month (grays are starting to happen) and do a clear gloss through the rest and that always refreshes the shine in my brunette hair! I love your hair brown. You always go back to it!

No matter how you or any other mother chooses to feed their baby, it is all your decision and it's wonderful! I chose formula after breastfeeding didn't work out, whether you breastfeed or pump or choose formula, it's all valid and no one should give you ANY flack for it! Ever!

Oh my goodness, Mindy. Being a mom is SO HARD, especially if you want to be the best mom you can be. Don't ever apologize for acknowledging the hard parts. I HIGHLY recommend a book called The Complete Book of Breastfeeding. It has SO much invaluable information about things you might run into and lots of good info for pumping, too. I have breastfed five babies, and this book was a lifesaver for me.

Hi I know he’s only out for a stroll but I just wanted to make sure that you know that the chest clip should be on his chest. The top of it should line up with his arm outs. Having it too high or too low will cause severe injury to soft tissue/ organs in a crash. It should be correctly positioned any time he is in his car seat. I know sleep deprecation is real and being a new mom there is a lot to learn abs remember so I just wanted to pass this info on. The manual that cam with his car seat is extremely useful.
@brandy23742 жыл бұрын
Mindy, I forgot to mention that it also appears that his harness straps are in a slot above his shoulders, all rear facing children need the harness to be coming out below their shoulders or exactly at their shoulders but never above. I’m sure you have realized this by now but wanted to make you aware because there is so much more than we realize when it comes to strapping children in correctly.

Mindy, I exclusively pumped with all three of mine due to tongue tie. I made 80 ounces a day...no lie ...that I froze the milk and stopped pumping around 10 months. I had so much saved that they all had it until they were 18 months. It doesn't matter what they get, whether it's a day, a week or a year worth. You're giving him the best no matter what!

The same thing happened with my son. We started off breastfeeding, but he began to get frustrated with how slow it would come out, so i was pumping and feeding him like that. But once he was older, like 3 months I tried to latch him again and it worked! You never know. Every journey is different and every baby is different! fed is best!!

No need to explain yourself or apologize for exclusively pumping. I was a exclusive pumping momma for over 18 months with my son. Similar reasons to you why I did it. He’s still getting your milk and I always considered myself a breastfeeding momma, my journey just looked different 😊 my son just never latched properly due to a tongue tie. I tried for 4 months and finally switched to exclusively pumping. It’s not the easier route by any means. It’s so much work and a true labor of love. You’re an amazing momma. We have our little girl and she will be 11 months next week. She had a lot of tummy issues that took 4 months for doctors to figure out. It was HARD!!!! People are lying if they say its not hard, there are days that it is harder than others. Sleep deprivation is a struggle, and its hard to take care of someone who can't tell you what they need. Having a newborn is HARD and you're right, the lack of sleep is what gets you. Honestly I couldn't even sleep when my son napped because I had so much anxiety where he's so little and helpless. What ifs kept clouding my mind. Your breastfeeding journey went exactly how mine did with my first little boy but the reason I switched to bottle with breastmilk was because I was just so exhausted. I'd sleep through some pump sessions and be engorged lol ugh, but it's all a wonderful journey. I love the brown hair 😍

I was set on breastfeeding, but my first was a lazy eater…as soon as he was at breast, he’d fall asleep. It killed my supply. I chose to switch to exclusive pumping at about 2 weeks.
