I love the BBC world service documentaries, so many interesting documentaries with a high moral standard! Thank you so much, BBC! And it's so great that I can listen to it all here in Norway, for free ❤

There are two complicated points about hunger. First, after wake up, morning is heavy gravitated, passes more then 30 minutes and it doesn't become better. Under this pressure of pain, being in useless condition, one thing seems to make day any happier - it is remembered from childhood snacks. ( mistake I know). The second thing, when I try to overcome this pain condition, after 3-8 hours, pain still doesn't end, and food again seems to be an only one opportunity to live at least a bit happy. When condition is paralized under pain - then it is nothing to do unless eat or sleep ( sleep is impossible in cause of increased pain). I cannot pass minutes of pain to release it and stay unweighted and clear off food.

Well I put water outside my window for birds and I've observed crows bringing food such as bread or pieces of meat to the water bowl. They first drop the food into the water, take it out and then eat it.

such nonsense, eternal appetite indicates leptin resistance! 2 kilograms of bacteria live in our intestines, and when we eat junk food, a large portion of dopamine is released. you are just drug addicts

I'm hungry because I ate junk food!😩 fast paced life no time to cook good quality food !
@LuciThomasHardylover-qx6ts10 ай бұрын
How long does it take to make scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast? Or good baked beans on the toast? Add a glass of milk or juice and a healthy meal in moments. Or the time it takes to cook noodles.. keep a bag of mixed chopped vegetables ( the mix is usually sweetcorn,diced carrots,peas,tiny broccoli florets ) in the freezer for fast meals. The veg will cook with the noodles,drain and stir a good quality sauce through. A fraction of the price and far healthier than a ready meal version. We fool ourselves about how much time we save with junk food, there are lots of quick healthy meals. Sometimes we just want to eat rubbish 😂

Unfortunately, it takes even less long than that for me.
@gilessteve9 ай бұрын
@@BartBVanBockstaele It's because you've eaten too much carbohydrate and spiked your blood glucose level. An hour later it crashes due to the body's insulin response and you feel hungry again. It's a rollercoaster that many people are dealing with. The solution is to eat higher fat, lower carbohydrate food - bacon and eggs for breakfast for instance, instead of cereal and orange juice.
@BartBVanBockstaele9 ай бұрын
@@gilessteve I see. How much carbohydrate is there in cheese?
@gilessteve9 ай бұрын
@@BartBVanBockstaele Very little in most cases. Unfortunately I'm intolerant to dairy so can't eat it. When I did eat cheese it caused cravings, which can be confused with genuine hunger and cause overconsumption. Another reason why I leave cheese alone. Others do alright with it though.
