great video! i'm learning to help my wife deal with her IBS, which is debilitating for her. she has a lot of pain and we had to go to the hospital recently. with the subtitles, i would suggest that instead of hardcoding them on the video in the video edit, it would be better to edit the subtitles in the youtube editor. that way they don't interfere with the video for people who don't want to read them, and they're easier to read for people who need them.

He didn’t say anything about gallstones and inflammation. I know someone who is scheduled to get his gallbladder removed due to this and had ultrasound then CT last week to confirm. I’m severely hoping he’s getting the correct.. everything of everything!

I’ve been suffering from IBS for about 15yrs. It all started weeks after my gallbladder was removed!! It destroyed my life. I’m not able to do the things I loved and enjoyed. Like going to family events, sporting events and eventually stopped me from coaching baseball. I work in Law Enforcement and the only way I manage to get through the day is to go 10yrs without eating anything and taking dicyclomine, but sometimes that don’t even work. If I could go back in time, I would’ve never let the doctor remove my gallbladder and I would’ve seeked alternative treatments and options. 😫

Thank you for this video. It's calm, well explained and so easy to understand that it leaves us able to make informed decisions or at least have a few more questions to clarify. So you are IBS specialists right, does that mean you are not able to consider effects of other abdominal problems that might be impacting the IBS? I ask as I also have diverticulosis so I experience problems that sometimes bounce between the two gut issues as well as GERD! I am aware of some foods that irritate and have changed my lifestyle habits for the better but still have sore episodes. Could you do a video on apple cider vinegar, slippery elm root powder and home made celery juice please...? The last two seem to help when I experience severe pain but I'm quite ignorant of the real health benefits ... or possible associated problems. I welcome your expertise and hope you can respond. I'm from the UK btw and wonder if you have a less expensive form of contact. Do you use watsapp please ...?

How long is the treatment for IBS? How long to get better after treatment?
@IBSTreatmentCenter5 ай бұрын
It varies from patient to patient depending on what we find to be the cause, because first we have to do some detective work to sort it out. But on average it will take about 3 months or so.

I have a gallbladder that’s been at a 13 % EF for about 17 yrs ( no stones) and was able to manage symptoms for a good portion of that time. I had a recent Hida scan done again and my EF is at 9%. I’m much more symptomatic again, with good and bad days. I too feel the GB is there for a reason and dread having it removed. My question to you is this…. Do you think my GB function could be restored in anyway, or no? And… is there an increased risk of GB cancer if I don’t have it removed?? Thank you!

Yes, your gallbladder function can improve or become irrelevant if you figure out what is causing your symptoms. If you don't have a gallbladder, then there is zero chance of ever getting gallbladder cancer. If you do have a gallbladder, then there is a greater than zero risk for getting gallbladder cancer.

Would u say u have the best IBS treatment in the world?
@IBSTreatmentCenter5 ай бұрын
It's difficult to know what is going on everywhere in the world, but I'm not aware of any other places completely focused on solving IBS.

Never did say what could be the cause. GET TO THE POINT!
@koitsu20135 ай бұрын
He didn't state what the causes are because they vary tremendously and are per-individual; too many to list. Doctors have to whittle down the possibilities on a per-patient basis.
