OMG! I love that little guy. He's growing up. He's so even tempered & sweet. Is it typical for chimpanzees to lose those qualities as they grow into adulthood? I've seen so many Chimps grow into being pretty brutal.

Chimps are amazing!! I have been reading up on them for decades and watching videos, etc. The closet I can get to them sadly is a zoo with glass between us. Yesterday two of them were just an inch away but with glass between us. But it was so amazing watching them so close to me! You people do such great work!

Because we live in the real world mary. At any momemt something can set off that chimp and he will end her on the spot. These animals arent children nor are they pets.
