I've never drifted in my life and I'm not even really into drifting but seeing someone do it with a full motion sim is somehow fun to me lmao

Chill on the gas my guy, instead of going 100% to 0% and back to 100%, try 80% to 20%. Your steering control is really good but the footwork ain't there yet ! Keep trying and you'll get it ! ❤❤

You should watch Sammit or Adam LZ while they are at Ebisu! That’s where touge course is and I’m sure watching them do it in real life will help you learn what you’re missing out on!

Back to pit button is working 50% of the time for 100% of the people, you basically have to bind it everytime you play to make sure, i've since decided that it's easier for me to get better at getting out of the way haha!

Also regarding your "skill" issue at drifting, you're really not that bad, i think it's fondly based on your overall seating position combined with the motion rig, it seems like you're constantly fighting to stay in place, lifting your back from the seat to reach your gears and handbrake. You should be able to put your wrist on the top of the steering wheel when your shoulders are fully seated comfortably and you should be able to reach your gears and handbrake in that same position. I also think your monitor should be further back (about flush with the Fanatec base from what i can see). Just Google sim racing position or posture on Google image :)

During the last track you were flooring the gas a lot, you need to modulate the petal more. it’s a difficult track but don’t be afraid to use the e-break on tracks like these

If you’re running low power, high tyre pressure in the rear is your friend, if you’re bogging down try up the pressure a bit

One tip that comes to mind is trying not to completely let go of the throttle on transition, try and get as close to zero throttle on the flip point without actually going to zero, it will help you getting used to giving more precise inputs... Your problem with snappy transitions and spin outs is because you apply or let go of the pedals to fast... Same with the steering wheel... Try and treat them all like a clutch when you're going from parked to driving, the smoother you are, the more time you give the car to act on your inputs, the better... Hope this helps :D

try using tires with less grip. if you're getting pulled forward too much n not getting sideways, they're too grippy

Your throttle control is pretty good, but there’s a lot of times when you completely let off gas. try to keep your foot slightly depressed on the gas, not completely off. You’re onto it when you say you lose power or don’t have enough power, that’s because the rpm’s are low like you mentioned
@MetiriPersonal10 ай бұрын
Also, you know how to burnout? Half brake and gas, it’ll help you keep your rpm’s high while losing speed
@MetiriPersonal10 ай бұрын
Not to keep going, but you’ll learn a ton actually going to a track and talking to people. Tracks often have drift events and you can ride along and ask questions. They also do learners day, for when the 240 is up and running 😊 and some even rent cars and do lessons

Pedal moderation!!! You need to find the point where you break traction and keep the rpm’s just above that, you are gaining too much wheel speed and that’s causing you to wash out and/or understeer.

you're not driving fast enough, you're just burning and not drifting. You have to learn to slide the car, not burn your wheels. If you really want to learn to drift easily and really have fun, start with a Toyota GT 86 with Prius rims. It drifts at low speed, and it's less scary than a m3 that most will break.
@austinbarnes500310 ай бұрын
He’s actually going too fast, these tracks are not built for speed, they are built for large angle.
