Drifting my REAL CAR in Assetto Corsa! Huge thank you to everyone that commented on my last video with tips and tricks on how to suck ;ess at drifting. There were a ton of comments telling me to work on my throttle control and feathering the throttle more, so I put that to the test and sure enough it helped a ton! I also haven't really talked about it anywhere other that on @jinersgarage IG, but I've parted ways with the 1.2JZ S13 and got a stock S14 with some fun stuff planned! I thought it was only fair to drive my new real car in Assetto Corsa!

Ya man you're not crazy thinking that drifting (or race driving in general) is like skateboarding. In fact I made the opposite direction trip as you, starting as a car and drift guy and learning more about skateboarding via gaming, and they're really kinda similar. The culture of chill drift meets and skateboarding is very similar too.

also you need to learn to left foot brake you will be surprised how much it helps

After the watching the vid, throtle is doing very good but make sure not to overlook the other one. Left foot braking is exactly what I mean. You gotta learn it. But also, I feel like, (with that vid) you proved that your leaving the intermediate field and getting into advenced stuff. That stuff, try it ! Get sideways on other tracks, go faster, get some massive entries and put yourself outside of your confort zone ! Honestly you got enough fondamentals to go try all the cool tracks (all of ebisu is my favourite). Keep sliding, I love it ! ❤❤❤❤

you can adjust the ffb in game for each car. it'll make the weight more realistic. move your mouse over the right side of the screen and a menu will pop up. look for a steering wheel.

Ebrake to extend the drift. Right foot brake with throttle to bring the rear end back out.

hey wondering what ppfilter your using? also i noticed when your in 3rd person your front wheel twitches alot so try to keep your steering at a minimum ultimately you should be using mostly throttle control and left foot braking to control most of your angle

It's a shame you got rid of the S13, but finally you have a car that you can actually drive, without it sitting in a workshop for two years first

Oddly specific question, for anyone who may know - I've got a Logitech G29 Wheel & Pedal setup, but in Assetto Corsa it seems to invert the pedal input. (Not touching the pedals is full throttle & brake, pushing the pedals is vice-versa)...Is there a specific setting I should look for to correct this? All other inputs & bindings seem good.

If you’re using content manager, there’s a checkbox to invert axes when binding controls iirc
