Why do Kobe Bryant & Dwight Howard Want to Live in Newport Coast?

Lakers Nation reporter, Serena Winters, took a trip down to Orange County to see why Dwight Howard just coughed up 20 million for a Newport Coast mansion. Kobe Bryant and recently acquired Dwight Howard are about to be more than just teammates, the duo might also be neighbors in the Pelican Crest Community.
With the practice facility in El Segundo being just 44 miles away and home game central (Staples Center) 49 miles away, how is Dwight Howard expected to be ready for each game?
