That's not entirely the case. God calls us to things we don't want to all the time. My confirmation teacher was called to singleness and she was mad at God and had to grieve the loss of what she wanted. Looking back she was glad she obeyed and followed God.

@@J10098 Yes I agree God calls us to things we don’t want to do all the time because there is a better version of us that awaits us in our uncomfortability. Marriage however is something that God has called for majority of his children, singleness God has called for very few. Throughout my life the 2 people that I have come across they were fine with being single and thrived in it. The testimony of your teacher is my first time hearing a story like that. Because, I know when there is a burning desire to do something that is created by God it comes directly from God. That’s why God gives us the desires of hearts, as long as we are working in the will of God. Like you said God has a reason for everything and you brought up Hosea, yes his wife was a prostitute. God wanted to show Hosea what He went through loving a people who did not love Him in return, who were idolizing others and rebelling. He paid to get her back and still had to remain faithful to her as Jesus paid for us on the cross and He remains faithful through it all. Just as Gomer had to learn to be faithful to Hosea we too have had to do the same. So God definitely has a purpose for everything again like you said. As for Jeremiah whom you brought up, God explained to Jeremiah why he could not get married or have a family because he would have lost them in the famine. I’m sure Jeremiah did not want that misery but he didn’t talk on if it bothered him or not. Paul seen his singleness as a gift from God and wished others could be single just like him. So again, God has a reason for everything and sometimes He tells us ahead of time others bit by bit and others not until we go through the process do we learn why we had to go through it like your teacher. One thing I think we all can agree on is that it’s all a faith walk with God and trusting and understanding that He has good plans for us and know us better than we know ourselves for He is our creator.

@@faiththefashionista2484 Heya! Not sure if you noticed but I edited the comment - removing Hosea and Jeremiah - before you replied for those same reasons you mentioned :). It is true that there are few called to be single and faith is a walk. In fact, He actually brought clarity to her (teacher) when she asked Him. That's why its so important that we run our desires by God to make sure it's His. But for sure, if God gave it, He WILL fulfill it.

Alluding that men categorizing women is a Godly thing or a reflection of what God does is a little misleading... GOD ONLY CATEGORIZES SINNERS AND Saints (sheep and goats) .. and even in that to Him all sin has the same weight... Jesus met the woman at the well and looked past her current situation and she went on to preach the gospel.. If according to you Jesus had the same mindset he wouldn't have given her the time of day.. And all though he knew some Jews would betray Him and EVEN kill him.. It didn't stop him from saying Forgive them for they know not what they do.. We give soo much advice to women on how to move.. Operate carry them selves to be found.. But not enough of rebuking men for exercising toxic masculinity.. If you realize the young lady is not what you seek.. LEAVE HER ALONE.. Please refer to the story of Hosea.. That being said.. A man that finds a wife finds a good thing and favor with God (Proverbs 18:22). That means not every woman is that man's particular wife. Not that some women are destined to be side chicks or situationships. So are you saying," God said we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14) to be side chicks or situationships"? Welp, Paul said in Corinthians 7 that it was good for a man not to have sex. But to stop sexual immorality let each man have his own wife likewise the wife have her own husband. By the way, a eunuch would be a man not woman who got his penis cut off. Cucubines were traditional in that time. Men also wore skirts back then. They also wore breast plate. We have to make it relevant to today. I'm gonna go because it is okay to disagree and not be disagreeable. I'm just offering a different perspective.

Everybody is a wife we are the wives of our Bridegroom Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beyond that we all aren’t equally yoked, so that’s why it says he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing. God said it was bad for man to be alone and that he needed help. So women were created as helpers, as wives. But this is so funny because literally a few days ago I was explaining to my friends how men categorize and helping them to understand the difference between a man who tends to think logically and a women who tends to think from emotions.

I hear what you're saying about men categorizing women. May I also offer a bit of wisdom. This goes for both men an women. There is also the problem of generational curses plaguing people who are and were meant to be in Godly marriages. This issue requires deliverance in prayer, fasting, and daily biblical declarations over ones life to break that yoke. How can we explain a beautiful Christian woman who is accomplished, successful, put together who only gets approached by married men??? Is it a category that she falls in? YES... However, it is something that was done by the enemy. A jealous friend or family member, even covenants taken by their own parents with evil demonic spirits. We cannot deny these biblical facts. Today after prayer and deliverance that beloved sister is delivered and is preparing for her wedding with her purpose partner. Some people are just in spiritual bandage my brother which causes men to see them the way you described. Peace be with you

i understand what you are trying to say but i disagree with parts of it. The general statement that I will make is that we "women" saved / unsaved, we are not what or who men say we are but we are are what and who GOD says we are. Proverbs 18 vs 22 Indeed says he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing..." but sometimes and i'm sure many has experienced this, maybe the person is not the GOD ordained wife to the man that has found her, that does not mean she is called to be a girlfriend/homie in life and that's just her purpose and that's it, which is how you make it out to seem in this video. Mind you, we make mistakes, we sin we do the worst you name it we are it. But might I remind you of the woman that was caught in the act of aldultery, John 8. Indeed she was an adulteress but Jesus said to her accusers, "He who is without sin cast the first stone and they all walked away one by one. He said "Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Men are not called to categorize women saved are unsaved. Men are called to see women as their sisters in Christ, likewise we women ought to see men as our brothers in Christ until GOD make us a wife. Then you see her as a wife. 1 Timothy 5 vs 1-2 "Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity." Matthew 5 vs 28 says "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Lastly the Church is the bride of Christ and Jesus Christ sees the church as His bride (Church= Male & Female saints) The church is not perfect and i"m sure we are not living up to the standards of holiness and righteousness that we ought to, does that make Jesus Christ to see us any less? No because Ephesians 5 vs 25-27 says "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish." and one more thing, Isaiah 54 vs 5 says "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called", I don't know for others but I know for me this is truth and I know who i am in Christ Jesus, and I wont ever fit into the category of what any man on earth thinks I am based off what they see, feel, or think about me or judge me to be. When they are creation just as I am, limited to time and space and five senses, when I am divinely called to be a royal priesthood and a holy nation by the Eternal Father and God and apparently "Husband" according to Isiah 54 vs 5. When you have been brought back from the pit, delivered from the dunghill and saved by His Grace, then you'll know and understand.. #Facts #Bible #Truth.....GOD Bless
