I love her explanation. But honestly not every women who were a hijab does not cheat, lie or is honest all her life. So a woman wearing hijab doesn't necessarily mean that this woman is the best advisor or friend. Believe me!!!! Maybe it should be like that, but its not reality

Please just dont 🤦🤦 wearing a hijab is still the first step for muslim women...the rest of your moral attributes comes with time, the more a person matures and learn, the more their moral character will be refined...so pls even if a muslim women has certain characteristic flaws, she still isnt exempted from observing the hijab.

Thankyouuuuuuuu!!!! Omg. I've seen majority of Muslim women cover themselves, going out till middle of the night with multiple men in hookah shish bars etc places and later on in the back of the cars taking off their hijab for fun and then dressing and fixing up themselves before going back home. Its disgusting. Not once. Not twice. Reoccurring. Normal. Like literally. If you walk down my streets you will find at least 2 or 3 in just one neighbourhood doing this. Explain yourselves. You shouldn't be proud of that my dear friends. The warning is dont get involved with these people. Their fake.

We don't just wear hijab, we commit to Allah by doing it. When we commit to our religion, wear hijab, pray , we also promise to Allah that we will not deceive anyone or cheat or lie. Of course, it is not necessary that every hijabi is like that. A person's imperfections define them and not the religion. Even if there exists a 1% of Muslim women as described in the video, let me tell you this 1% is the example of true Muslim women. What matters is that our religion wants women to be this pure. So a woman wearing hijab is a guarantee that she will not cheat, she'll not deceive etc? Illogical. Morality and truthfulness comes from our own ability to differentiate between right and wrong,not from a piece of cloth. No piece of cloth is guarantee for anything. Anyone can be good, anyone can be bad. I've witnessed this myself. A small but classic example is the one I saw in metro while travelling. A Muslim woman who was veiled didn't offer her seat to an old lady while a woman who was wearing a dress(let me tell her cleavage was visible too) offered her seat. Muslims, acknowledge that you guys are no better. We all are different but equal. Your culture isn't above anyone's else and vice versa.

Those men (or I should say people because the persons forcing them are not only men but tbf mostly men) those men are in the wrong. It is haram, meaning forbidden in Islam, to force women to cover up or to suppress their rights. Sadly a lot of times men are seen as superior in countries or cultures, and men (humans) with power like to act as if they have the right to force women to do whatever. Power will make humans corrupt, and that happens all over the world, also in Muslim countries. However, I want to emphasize that those countries more often than not do not set the right example. Killing someone because she does not want to cover her hair is not something good or halal to do, suppressing women and taking away their education isn't, and so on.

@georgepantzikis7988Ай бұрын
She is taking that verse completely out of context. It says that the hijab is worn so that women are recognised and therefore not harmed. It is referring to an epidemic of serial sexual assaults that were happening at night-time. Women going to relieve themselves at night outside the town would be targeted by gangs of predetory men hiding in the woods. However, they wouldn't attack women with veiled hair, because that was a sign of wealth at the time, and it was too risky to attack a potentially wealthy, powerful woman. Instead, they attacked their slaves, who did not cover their hair. God's guidance regarding this problem, rather than call for the men to stop or get the honest men to protect the women, was to get all women to cover their hair as if they were wealthy. Instead of punishing rapists, he ordered women to change the way they dress to accommodate the rapists.

"It is referring to an epidemic of serial sexual assaults that were happening at night-time." The peeping-Tom Umar was the serial sexual molester. I had to do an assignment in a college course where we had to meet a new group of people we didn't know a lot about and interview them. I chose muslim women. I talked to a group of 6 women. Not all of them were wearing hijabs. Each one of those ladies said that it was their choice. Some wore it because they were proud of who they were and wanted people to immediately know that. One of the ladies stopped wearing hers on campus because she did not feel safe walking around with it on. Another one just didn't want to wear it. I will say that none of those ladies judged one another about it. That 2 hour long interview was a very eye-opening experience.

The origin of the hijab came from the peeping-Tom Umar, who didn't want to mistakenly abuse Muhammad's wives at Al-Manasi, as his own daughter, Hafsa, was the 4th wife, so he made them wear the hijab by invoking Allah to reveal the "Al-Hijab" verses (Umar wasn't even the chosen last Prophet): Narrated `Aisha: The wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqi` at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night. `Umar used to say to the Prophet (ﷺ) "Let your wives be veiled," but Allah's Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam`a the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) went out at `Isha' time and she was a tall lady. `Umar addressed her and said, "I have recognized you, O Sauda." He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of "Al-Hijab" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes). Sahih al-Bukhari 146 *So shamefully vile.*

She doesn't understand Quran. There is no direct command to cover the hair in the Quran. There are 2 verses about this: 1. In An Noor 31, the khimar (headscarf) that is assumed already worn, was commanded to be dropped down to cover the chest of a woman. So there's no direct command to cover the hair, covering the hair was assumed done already, the khimar was expected to be there. Allah here is only telling to drop down that khimar to cover the chest, that's it. 2. In Al Ahzab 39, muslim women are supposed to draw near the cloak / outer garment (jilbab) that cover all the body so it becomes closer / tighter / not to let it loose and showing things. Here too, the jilbab was assumed worn, the command was to draw it near, to tighten it, not to let it loose. This ayah was meant for women not to be bothered by harming men. It looks like she was referring to this ayah, but this ayah is not a direct command to wear headscarf (khimar) or to cover the hair. The An Noor 31 however told to not show women sensuality (ziinah) , anything that will make men be attracted to women sexually. And Rasulullah pbuh then told the women TO COVER everything except the face and hands. Now THIS is the more direct command to cover the hair. The command is in the hadith, yet she's quoting the Quran. I don't think even she knows exactly the reference/source of the sharia of why she should be wearing the khimar 😊.

thank you for educating people, i disagree with the idea of a hijab but it also drives me insane when people conflate hadith and quran!!! please know your own religion
@adralia238 күн бұрын
@@aline8576 the BASIC IDEA is actually in (of course) The Quran, An Noor 31, for women not to show beauty that will attract men. This understanding came from realizing that this ayat is coupled with the previous ayat, An Noor 30. That's why some mahdzabs included a woman's face in it, just to be safe, especially when she is beautiful. But of course the sensual beauty for every woman is different. And I think that's why muslim women should understand what this ayat (An Noor 31) is actually trying to say. It's regulating men & women regarding attractiveness. Because sensual beauty for every woman is different, and every man's taste is also different, I think it was very wise when our Prophet pbuh actually defined women's aurah, that is everything excluding the face and the 2 hands. In my opinion this is the best regulation, I don't believe wearing niqab/chadr is for everyone, after pondering An Noor 31.
@yamazaki93665 күн бұрын
@@adralia23covering the face or not has a disagreement among scholars themselves. However, even those who says women can show their face they recommend not to as covering is Mustahab in their opinion and even their women used to cover. Women who cover their faces they are either doing a mandatory act of worship (Wajib) or a recommended one (Mustahab). This shows you it’s always better to cover especially when you’re young.
