Another persona. Alter ego. Which is an escape from one person to another. Like an actor that plays a character in a movie or tv series or a part in a role. Thats what we do. And if it give it a great escape then its a freedom to be the other person. Women clothing has always feel better. Nice and smoother than male clothes.

YES !!! Well said Paola . You absolutely nailed that . Everything you said from beginning to end applies to me 100 % . In the end it's the clothes that get you . Starts as a fetish and then evolves into so much more , wanting to feel pretty and look feminine preferring womens' clothes to mens' all the time . Let's face it the fabrics and variety of womens clothes are far superior and feel so much better against your skin . Thank You Paola for another wonderful post . I look forward to your next one . x

I was 99% with this don't care bout the fetish I am what I am for myself🤗 just wish I could be myself all the time... one day😥. Still nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks like this.

Another big thing you're forgetting, is just that women's fashion is so much more fun. Men's fashion is so dull and colourless, blue or white shirts, dark trousers, black or brown shoes - if you're into fashion and colour and being flamboyant, men's clothes don't offer the self expression you need. Exploring women's fashion, putting together outfits etc, playing with colours, matching accessories and seeing how you look, is just fun in itself as a hobby. Doesn't necessarily have to have any deeper meaning! Also there's fun in making up and playing a character, just as an actor does. "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely Players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts". So wrote Shakespeare. Learning to play a new part is a joy in itself.

Thanks for sharing this, you gave very thoughtful insight. For me I started crossdressing long before youtube was a thing. That said I gave up long ago trying to figure out "why" and accepted the fact it part of what makes me.. me. As time passed though and I became comfortable , my identity morphed from a "crossdresser" to be more complex. So I really liked that you observed this can be part of a personal journey to finding our authentic self.

Dear Paola, in my case it started at 12 years old, just out of curiosity. Shortly after I realized that I was loving wearing a feminine look and I felt really good about wearing feminine clothes. I didn't feel guilty, but I was afraid of what they would think about me. It wasn't until I was 35 years old that I told my mother the whole truth and a year later she started to help me, because I always helped her and I continue to help her. I have no regrets for being who I am today, a happier person wearing feminine looks. There are few places I don't use that are the bank and the hospital or some very important place.

Another great video Paola! I'm with you girl! You are correct in that if crossdressing person isn't harming anyone. I Started crossdressing as a way to relieve stress (?) Years ago (I was 4) I started crossdressing and over the years thought it was a stress reliever, but I was really trying to find myself. I finally realized that I'm a trans woman and like you, have started HRT. It feels wonderful to be living as my authentic self! Thanks for the great video! 💕💞💗

Very well said. It very much is a part of my life. It’s helps me get in touch with my feminine side but also to make me feel more like myself. I feel myself bloom wherever I dress up. It started out as a sexual tension but that didn’t last long. I soon found myself dressing up because I just want to decompress.

I think this is one of your best crossdressing topic videos. The information provided, in your usual calm delivery, will be especially reassuring for those who are freaking out over their own or someone else’s desire to crossdress. One point you mention is stress reduction. I’ve seen this brought up in a few places, one being a blog post by a British doctor (also a crossdresser) who wrote that some crossdressers have seen it help reduce their blood pressure. So, crossdressing can have an actual health benefit for some! I hope this video comes up in a lot of KZbin searches on the topic and gets a ton of views. One, because I want others to find your channel. The other, because it will benefit those trying to “figure it all out.”

Thank you for this video and advice, Paola! You hit the nail RIGHT on the head for most cross-dressers, I'm sure, certainly for me..... I'm a CD, but it's not really a fetish for me. I do it because for one thing, it feels amazing to get to be someone else for a little while, (I'm a truck driver and away from home for a week and a-half to two weeks at a time, so I don't get to CD very often). However, I'm only a CD, I'm not trans, I have no desire to be trans and I'm happy being a man who dresses like a woman. Also as you said, I do have a very strong, yet soft feminine side. I love the way women's clothes feel, especially panties, pantyhose and soft dresses; I love wearing makeup and wigs as well and I love getting to act feminine when I'm out en femme..... You are absolutely right, of course when you say that women's clothes feel better than men's, I could not agree more! LOL Also a point that you touched on, women can pretty much wear whatever they want..... Men's shirts, shorts, pants, ball caps, neck ties, etc. but even in 2022, the majority of society still thinks that men can't wear women's clothes. When women do it, for example, when a guy and girl get finished in the bedroom, she'll often put on his shirt or something and that's considered to be "cute" or "sexy". But, heaven FORBID if he were to put on anything of hers. To me, that is a HUGE double-standard! And I'm with ya girl, wear whatever you fricken wanna wear! LOL

The fact that most of the decently, kind-hearted men out there have a genuine and soft "feminine side" to their personalities, and that most decently strong and mentally-tough women also have a strong and firm, "masculine side" to their genuine personalities just goes to show that the distinction between men and women (and also their clothing) shouldn't be So definite and defined.

@jwenting2 жыл бұрын
For me it started as something utterly practical. I was down with very bad back problems and couldn't pull on my trousers or shorts. So I decided to look for a wrap skirt online that I could just wrap around my body and have something to wear. I found quickly that heck, this is far more comfortable than jeans or slacks, let's get a few more and wear them when I'm not at work and expected to "look professional". Next came adding some variety in female tops and blouses (but still mostly "unisex") because I wanted more variety than is available in male clothing (especially if you want to look decent) and now I've replaced those jeans and slacks with female cut trousers. And guess what, I look more "professional" than ever at work, feel much more comfortable and much more myself. I've always had a pretty strong "feminine side", though you'd never see me wearing flowery dresses and frilly blouses. Then again, no woman in my life wore those, ever, so maybe role models play a part there. From not being interested in sports and typical "boy games" as a child to not caring about cars and stuff as an adult, and later going into seeing porn and erotic novels and imagining myself (one of) the women in the scene rather than the men (which I guess you're supposed to imagine yourself to be). I don't consider myself transgender, but I do consider myself pretty to be on the far end towards the extremes of the bell curve of masculinity. Which is almost certainly a hormone thing as much as anything else, and had I been exposed to the idea of transgender identity and gender transition 20 years earlier I may well have gone that way but by now I consider myself too old to go through with the whole process and still have a decent amount of life left to live as what I may well truly be.

One of my earliest memories I have, in life, is being at my great aunts house while she babysat me. I was 3-4. I remember playing in her bedroom and finding her pantyhose. Idk how I knew it was taboo but I remember laying underneath her bed and putting them on over my jeans… lol. Bottom half under the bed and top half sticking out. When she came to check on me I remember rolling them off and later coming back to put them in her bedside drawer. Cut to me stealing sisters/moms clothes and panties growing up and now me continuing to dress today. Yea it is sexual a lot of the times, but I know it wasn’t back then… it’s a part of me and I don’t know why! I love it, but life would have been easier without this urge to dress.

To answer your question about why women who wear mean clothes aren’t judged the same way, it comes down to one thing: misogyny. Wearing a suit or a masculine outfit as female symbolizes power. Which is why you hear the saying “Man up” instead of “Woman Up”. Society says this: Women wearing Suit and tie = Superior, Powerful & Strong. Men wearing Skirt and Heels = Weak, Sissy, Inferior. Sad but it’s reality unfortunately 🤷🏻♀️

My point is that there are a great many things people do in private. If crossdressing was the absolute worst of these things, the World would be a pretty decent place! Imagine if every wife-beater, drug-pusher, child-molester and other private monster instead got pretty a couple of nights per month. Maybe there would be fewer sirens at night and the front page of the newspaper would become easier to look at! It gets a pretty strong response from people when maybe it should get a shrug at the absolute worst.

Me personally I’ve always enjoyed dressing up wearing feminine clothing since I was a little kid. I would always go in secret and go through my Step auntie’s dirty laundry and wardrobe but mainly my step Cousin’s clothes that was just a couple years older. I would aspire to be like her. I remember the first time I got caught Crossdressing I locked myself in the restroom the day after this big party they through. I was trying on and wearing my step cousin’s clothes and outfits. I was fully dressed up with this cute mini white skirt, a blue blouse, stockings and heels. My mom managed to open the door and exposed me to all my step cousin’s. After that day my Step father’s family knew about this and would laugh and mock me. I was young and didn’t really understand this. I knew I was a boy growing up but I would always find myself dressing up in feminine clothes. But Yet my step cousin’s around my age despite the fact they laughed at me where also curious and would ask me questions. Part 1

I listen to Paola unless you remind me but when she first started crossdressing any trouble with trials that she has to go through in her life and how she developed into a beautiful person and a woman I don't think that's as much as I might try to stand your woman I think I am a woman I have to accept the fact that I am the trash everything I listen to Paul about it's nothing that's the truth and honesty I just had to find in this world I thank you for this she's helped me out so much she is the reason why I kind of came out I said hey everybody this is me who I really am my name is Robbie and I'm proud of it! For 10yrs I didn't have a girlfriend but when I dressed I became a different person and started dating men but I was only interested in men when I dressed. I wasn't lonely anymore. Nowadays I'm all Male and have a female partner someone I met on a blind date. She knows ive a stockings fetish but doesn't know i dress occasionally.

To me it definitely started young, my parents would drop me off at my aunts house, and i had some cousins that were girls, as young as mayb 6-8 years old i would sneak in their house and try wearing their socks and their shoes, as well as trying to always sneak in and wear my sister’s clothes when she was out. So it didn’t start as a fetish for me but I do think i tried to justify it as that for a couple years, I think I may be Trans and closeted or something like that? Im not sure, I always wanted to be a girl growing up but now a-days i don’t feel uncomfortable being a guy I just wish i could pass as a girl. I have been trying to get into it the past 3 years and its been working but pretty slow for me actually, im still to ashamed to come out as that to my parents, maybe it will happen soon but I haven’t given up so i plan to progress in the future.

I was either 10 or 11 years old the first time I wore my sister's tights. I went in the bathroom and I put them on and I just remember how they felt on my legs. I loved it. I was hooked on wearing tights after that. I remember when I was 18 years living at my grandparents house in San Diego CA my grandmother had saved several bags of my older cousins dresses and and tights that were too small for them but most perfect for me. I remember wearing a dress tights and I had found a pair of shoes that fit. I left the house about 4:00 in the morning. And walked up towards Sharp memorial hospital. Which was about a mile and a half away from the house. I was very nervous Thinking somebody that knew me was going to see me On the way to the hospital I had to walk up a a major throughfare. Yes there were some passing cars going but it seemed like they were not paying that close attention to me. As it got closer to about 6am. I returned back to the house. My aunt would tell me a few days later she saw me leave the house but never told anybody I was embarrassed that somebody had seen me but I was overjoyed that she didn't tell anyone. I remember asking me if she wanted me to go shopping with her to get a couple of dresses shoes and some tights to where that were my size for if I would need her or my cousins help. I told her if I did make the switch to becoming a transgirl that I would definitely let her know. I wasn't very good at cross-dressing. I'm more or less just put any dress on in a pair of tights a wig and shoes and would just go out in public with no makeup on. When I go out public. I love becoming Monica. I know it is a fetish for me to dress up. And I've been doing it since I was 18. Now I am 50 years old. And not too many people in my family know that I continue to do it

Love the long hair today. It fits your face much better than the short one (IMHO).

Clothes has no gender, I am a cross dresser, and I love wearing female clothes, so that I can get in touch with my feminine side so easily

I'm straight and have no desire to change my gender. I don't really care about the boundaries of what I can and can't wear according to "my" cultures standards. I find it fun. Idk why but my brain has so much interest towards skirts and dresses.

A lot of friends who do this. My hand went up, here.😊 I stopped caring about why. I'm more interested in enjoying my life these days. Perhaps more relevant is what happens if I'm in a situatuation where she can't come out. Like oh say, while deployed to Iraq. I was a very cranky human. It feels very natural to me to dress and behave, or some combination of that as feminine. It feels like some sort of punishment when I just can't for whatever reason do my thing. That's a little bit of my take on it. It's just, hey I need this to be okay. And I deserve to be okay.

Others say it's a trauma from your childhood that's the causation of your crossdressing but in my personal experience it wasn't like that for me . I crossdress because it makes me feel happy. I love wearing men's clothes and women's clothes. I just simply enjoy doing both

I love to cross dress and in my twenties, I passed easily but middle aged spread and aging meant that I no longer passed. I still love my women's clothes and only go out perhaps once a month as I don't like going out in the daylight especially as my house is overlooked by a dozen neighbours, plus now being a pensioner I can't afford new clothes every two months.

Why do you think you need new clothes every 2 months 😮

Another good video (I really like the dress, BTW!) I find that even in guy mode, I still like certain "women's" styles because of how flowy (for lack of a better word) they are. TBH, I'm kinda hoping that the most recent (and super popular) expansions for Final Fantasy XIV brings unisex robes back into style, because dresses (and robes) are comfortable as can be, and there's a reason why they were popular way back in the day.

I work in an overwhelmingly masculine dominated trade and it’s exhausting having to maintain my masculine identity all the time. I don’t want to always be the roughed up mechanic, I want to be soft and pretty and wear cute clothes from time to time. My femme side needs expression otherwise I just don’t feel like a complete person.

We crossdress for different dynamics of life. To escape for one dull life to another more exciting alter ego. Like a bruce wayne by day. And batman at night. Clark kent as a mild mannered reporter to Superman a caped hero.

I think you look cutest and prettiest when you have long hair with bangs, like you're wearing in this video. Just my opinion. ❤
