This is my favorite interview. As an image designer starting out many years ago, I had one particular client who was a cross dresser. I helped him put together packages of beauty supplies from the salon I worked at. He was a local real estate agent. Anyway, there is a definite difference between a cross dresser, a person who does drag, a trans individual...guys who are straight who cross dress, I just think they are very artistic and that arouses them. My partner of 12 years is androgynous in style, but very masculine, sexually. Never doubt the masculinity of a gentle man. :) Lastly, in the 80s rock n roll scene, men felt the freedom to beautiful, even if they weren't gay. Artists

Thank you so much for this interview, Mark. Amy speaks for all of us crossdressers (I am one). 💖 Amy's statement "I dress for my own male gaze," hits the spot and resonates with me and I am sure for many other fellow crossdressers out there. 🤗 The simplest way to put it is that we are such big fans of feminity & women that we want to look like one & embrace our feminine side. I am not gay nor attracted to males & I am married too (but unlike Amy, I have to keep this secret). Stay gorgeous, Amy, you have a beautiful soul ❤️ Xoxo

When I was a teenager I used to work in a high end department store and we had a regular who would come and buy women's shoes. He was a straight older guy, happily married to a woman and totally open that he was a cross dresser. This was 15 years ago and I feel like a little less talked about, but honestly no one blinked an eye, he was a nice guy and a good customer.

Why did this person do the interview if they were going to be such a liar!? I found his socials, first of all he is NOT "straight" by any means! His dominatrix "girlfriend" is another crossdressing MAN with a HUGE **** and they make onlyfan videos together. Also, this person definitely seems transgender judging by the photos on his socials, I guarantee in less than a year he will start transitioning. Also, he HAS to be rich because there's no freaking way after seeing his socials a wife would ever go for this at all, looks like he spends an EXTREME amount of time on all of this and that his dominatrix BOYFRIEND also takes up most of his time. His socials are also just so gross, he clearly developed some sort of mental issues from watching all of that disgusting sissy hypnosis stuff online.

I almost find the comment board more interesting than the subject. The fact that other people can have such an emotional reaction to a man wearing women's clothes just shows that the "weirdness" is not confined to Amy. If the topic was someone who liked to wear tuxedos to casual events or dress up in Halloween costumes every two weeks, it's hard to imagine the same level of vitriol that some commenters have here. Also interesting how many people need to insist he is gay, like it eases their cognitive dissonance to put him in this box they've set up. I would think it would be a lot easier to admit you're gay in this day and age - indeed, "A Gay Man" wouldn't begin to make the cut for this channel...

omg this is so relatable to my experience! Honestly this gives me so much validation. My particular motives for crossdressing and the way I've integrated it into my life are very much like what this person is describing. I'm not trans or gay, I'm simply a crossdresser, and yes there is a sexual component to it, and it's absolutely ok. I'm also around the same age. So cool to find some accurate representation, makes me feel a little less like a freak.

In the early 80's I had a nail salon and two of my clients crossdressed. They were not gay and were married with kids. Both had wives that were fine with it. They crossdressed periodically and I did the long nails for them. One told me he enjoyed it as a stress release. He was a successful businessman. Your guest reminds me of them. Just kinda chill low key doing it. Androgyny used to be like that too. People just did it. It was artsy and interesting. And of course the glam rock hair bands. They pushed the boundaries.

I respect that he admits that it's a sexual thing! I don't respect that other people try to get him to go out in public doing/wearing what he himself considers to be a sexual thing. It's not okay for society to push people to do what those people consider to be sexual in public. This opens the door wide for autogynephilic behavior in women's spaces. Be careful what you wish for ladies. No everyone is as respectful and lovely and honest as Amy.

Most crossdressers are kind, take care of themselves, know how to respect women and know so much about the female world. I can't understand how this can be seen as something so negative. The patriarchy really does damage and promotes hate where there should be love and respect.
