If you have some free time, write down why people hate this game, I’d love to read your opinions 👇

Because cringy loser internet trolls and people who can't just get over Dragon Age Origins just want something to hate on. It's stupidity at it's finest, they don't like it and are trying to force other people to hate it too. There is never a single game that's catered to literally everyone, that's just life. I personally thought DAO sucked for a lot of reasons, but I don't go out of my way to rant about it or shove my personal tastes down other's throats.

Yep, there are a lot of parrot-like haters who don't even know the difference between the old and new Dragon Age, they just heard a few things that are "supposed to be hated," so they "hate" it, but it's not even based on their own experience.

I think i am going to enjoy because i enjoy all the other DA games. I dont want to be a hardcore gamer because then i would have these high expectations that ruin the gaming experience for me.

Haven't bought anything from Bioware since Andromeda, isn't that good enough reason for me?
@Gameplayicu10 күн бұрын
Uh, Andromeda was really a big disappointment after the Mass Effect trilogy
@Funtasters10 күн бұрын
I know that the old game also had a woke agenda, but it wasn't as massive, it didn't seem forced and it wasn't displayed explicitly. But for today's games, developers are aggressively promoting the woke agenda massively, an agenda that seems forced into the game, and displays it explicitly. So maybe that's what makes people hate it, because there are some games that have bad gameplay, story, etc., because the developers are only busy putting their agendas in the game, without paying attention to other things.

In my personal opinion, the game is not as bad as people say, and most importantly, it's not "unoptimized" as they claim. Also, I find most of the other criticisms to be exaggerated. This game is an action RPG with romantic elements and free choice, similar to the older Dragon Age series, which had a darker atmosphere. This one is friendlier and more fairy-tale-like, but I like it.
@Funtasters9 күн бұрын
@Gameplayicu Yes, actually this game is not bad in terms of gameplay, it's pretty good.
@noncompulsoryl10 күн бұрын
I don't hate, I just have no interest in it. After 8 years of development, with a big team and a massive budget from a dev team/Studio that has everything to prove after their last couple of games....Making a passable action RPG with very little in the way of choice and consequence, as a sequel to a notoriously choice driven RPG is simply a massive disappointment to me personally. There are many other things about this which convinced me not to play this game, but as someone who's really enjoyed the Dragon Age franchise, this is simply not the type of game I was hoping for. To everyone having a blast playing this though, have fun!

I don't think there is an issue with its optimization; it runs at 30-35 fps on mid-high settings with an RX 580, while the official system requirements are 'RTX 2070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700XT.

@@Gameplayicu But they don’t let you be anyone you want anymore in this game. You cannot be evil or anything. There is next to no role playing here. That is unheard of from Bioware. The fighting system and the enemies are lame as well.
@Gameplayicu10 күн бұрын
@@Lock2002ful If you want to be evil, play Fable (2004); you can even marry a male character (if you want) or have a wife (the choice is yours). Back then, games like that were loved and are still seen as classics today. edit: I’d be curious to see what would happen if this game were released in this era.. 😑
@Lock2002ful10 күн бұрын
@@Gameplayicu Why should I need to play a game from 20 years ago if I want to be evil? Baldur’s Gate 3 did literally everything better than the Veilguard AND you cannot be as gay and trans, good and evil as you want. It was released last year to not only critical acclaim but players loved it. The difference? Good writing, good story, good gameplay and most importantly choice. You can choose what to be and how to play. Veilguard fails in every aspect as a rpg. It’s the Mc Donalds equivalent of food. Anyone who say that the game is good is either extremely weird or has never played any other rpg before. So don’t make this about “What if game x was released today” when we just had BG3 last year. Veilguard is garbage and the only reason gamezines and reviewers aren’t giving it low scores is because of their so called “woke” bias.
