actualyl i think javale would shine anywhere as long as he plays in the more modern offense which was started by GSW motion offense and rocket 2 man heavy iso offense which focus on playing fast, shooting 3s and scoring in the paint and tons of lobs which pair well with smaller, faster, more athletic big. one of the reason he wasn't so utilized out there because back then they still favor post game like cousins or z-bo, gasol or ao jefferson back in those days where javale mcgee worth was measured this way. all in all now smaller, faster and more athletic big man is heavily favored. as one would realized, all teams that won championship in recent years are elite 3pt shooting teams which require alot of switchings. traditional post game big man most shared one common trait which that they are strong but slow footed. often killed by pick and roll actions or they couldn't hold their own after a switch mismatch.

Kerr's system is a mix of Phil Jackson and Greg Popovich, with emphasis on passing. This is why we have a lot of assists and often a ton of turnovers.

A really important element is the supportive, encouraging, and unselfish culture and I think a lot of that comes back to Steph. When Poole, Wiggens, Klay, etc are having a hot streak, Steph is more than happy to take fewer shots and set up his teammates. He is genuinely just as happy to see his teammates succeed as he is for his own great performances. Fantastic leader and the heart and soul of the dubs. Also shoutout to Klay's incredible work ethic and perseverance coming back from injuries.

The Warrios at full strength are a completely selfless ballclub. Anyone who doesn't fit in is gone. That's it. The leaders lead by passing when they're supposed to pass and the role players shoot when they're supposed to shoot. Everybody plays selflessly. I'm not a Warriors fan but when they're on their game it's a great thing to watch.

Warriors knows how to show underrated players' true potential. Imagine, they risk for Steph, who would've thought he could become and accomplish what he did. Anyone can be good on the Warriors with a leader like Curry, he's unselfish and lets players play while at the same time getting his own stats. Curry is also just a good team manager that knows how to deal with his teammates the right way where he doesn't offend them, he really gets the most out of his teammates.

Warriors future is secure. With JK, JP3, and Wiseman, their future is a crystal clear with these young talents. Bob Myers has done a great job, but he didn't draft Steph ('09) or Klay ('11). That was Larry Riley, who was the GM at the time. Myers didn't arrive until after and was also mentored by Riley before taking over the GM role. He did however draft Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green in his first ever draft as GM.

For me I think its all about trusting their big 3 (Curry, Green, Klay). There's no pressure playing alongside those guys. Everyone just does their role and not stressing about doing too much. Draymond and Steph honestly. Even when they are having bad games they create so many opportunities for everybody on the floor. Steph with his off ball movement and Dray is basically a unconventional floor general who get people looks all day long. He won't fill up a stat sheet but is often the difference between a win or loss. Then there's the fact that warriors actually look to get everyone involved which isn't a common thing in the league. Many teams expect players to play highly limited minutes / roles and or to feed the super stars. Players who normally wouldn't get the chance shine get pushed to the forefront that way.

They experienced everything. They know how to utilize strengths & compensate for weaknesses. Look at Steph, Klay & Dray for example. The warriors is a very good organization! I think they are on the top in terms of developing players and bring the best out of them! Plus they have a Super Star that is not selfish and willing to share greatness, also to mentor young guys! every body knows the teams/organization goals and knows what needs to be done to get there, they don't pull each other down but instead they help and lift everybody to the top! and they stick to their identity which is "Strength in Numbers". lastly they have a good coach which trust his players ability and use it to help the team! I think Steve Kerr adopt the strategies of 2 of the best coaches in the league and apply some of his formula to make it more effective!

The thing is. They know how to maximize their players and know how toanage their ego to understand their roles. Once they accepted it and played with the system, they can be better. Credits to Kerr as he definitely learned a lot with Pop. Also for Green's IQ, many might say he was being carried by Curry, Durant and Klay, but his intangibles were very great. Obviously with Curry and Klay's offensive prowess but their willingness to play with the team was great, they're very great teammates. Very good org even before Curry got there, they value their young talents, from Davis to Ellis to Curry. Though they probably won't do it right now since Curry and co gave so much to the team and were still productive which was resulting to win. Unlike to the time of Davis and Ellis when they were traded.

I believe he suffered some injuries in his hand the reason why he haven't been shooting efficient lately. That's why in his interview he said no excuses but in reality he knows his hands are bothering him. Also believe his eyes are bothering him too. Lately he been squinting when shooting. So hopefully he will be better by post season when it matters most. Right now he just needs to rest and get better. He will be fine after that.

Some of it has to do with Steph. He shares the ball, moves off the ball, and his shooting threat opens things up for others. I've played with dudes that will never pass the ball n shoots everything. So when Steph doesn't score the most, people don't put him in the MVP race even though he's being valuable.

this is one of the reasons I Stan the warriors they let everyone play and have teamwork if you notice most of the games only 2-3 players get benched but most of them play, Kerr have trust his players that's the reason why he is a good coach

There’s a lot to be said about being a winning organization with a good support system (coaches, trainers and front office), but there’s no substitute for stars that “get it”. They perform and they work at it so they can demand the same from their teammates. When a player decides to be what they CAN be- then it’s on.

actualyl i think javale would shine anywhere as long as he plays in the more modern offense which was started by GSW motion offense and rocket 2 man heavy iso offense which focus on playing fast, shooting 3s and scoring in the paint and tons of lobs which pair well with smaller, faster, more athletic big. one of the reason he wasn't so utilized out there because back then they still favor post game like cousins or z-bo, gasol or ao jefferson back in those days where javale mcgee worth was measured this way. all in all now smaller, faster and more athletic big man is heavily favored. as one would realized, all teams that won championship in recent years are elite 3pt shooting teams which require alot of switchings. traditional post game big man most shared one common trait which that they are strong but slow footed. often killed by pick and roll actions or they couldn't hold their own after a switch mismatch.

I think the only thing stopping Coach Kerr from being regarded as the best developmental coach in the league is that fact that Pops is still around. Once Poppovich retires, Kerr has to considered that.

Steve Kerr doesn't get enough Coach of the Years because it's based on popularity and team records. But Steve Kerr as the Warriors coach since 2014 they went to the finals in their 1st year, since 1974. Not to mention winning their first finals together in their first year together. And making 4 more finals consecutively after that winning 3 out of 5 trips to the finals.

On and off court culture is, I guess, a major factor. If your players and coaches are nurtured well, treated well, trained well, and there are no locker room dramas or office politics, the motivation to win and perform is always high. Make your people happy and contented, and their outputs will be superb.

That's it 5:15 That's it in a nutshell. "Because they're surrounded by greatness." I believe nearly everybody wishes they played for the Warriors, except those who are great enough & it's important enough for them to instead be the star player of their own team (like Lillard, etc.)! Or at least everyone would love to have the _advantages_ you get from playing for the Warriors. In addition to being around greatness, you also get things like a light & bright atmosphere and way of doing things through even just the *personality* of Stephen Curry! He's an Assassin but also a Big Kid who is drama free and simply focused. And things like the won't-settle-for-less culture of Champions who have already proven themselves to be that great. Basketball is mostly Mental! So all of that helps you. Coming in not having to worry about permanently carrying a team, not having to worry about prevailing through the struggles & woes of a losing team, not having to worry about being around "half ass" players who leave you less than motivated, and already knowing that with the talent that's already there you kind of get to work with already having the winning secret sauce. You just have to contribute to getting there. Because the "secret sauces" still can't do it alone. It still does take a team. But All Of These Things & more combined is what allows players to become stars when acquired by the Golden State Warriors because, if you have potential, all you really have to do is go there ready to ball, ready to learn and ready to Grow! I've seen and said this myself so many times! (I still wouldn't pull a punk move like KD did though, just skipping & hopping over there just for a quick ring. 😂 Lol I still don't respect it, the way it happened.) But yeah. This is THAT team! Which is why those few at the core, *especially when they are a unit **_together,_* are so special. So, so special.

Another thing is the the pressure of having bad games. Draymond is a great leader in that role due to media pointing him out as one of the scapegoats since he's a triple single guy but Draymond being himself, "fuck everybody else" mentality by him helps keep his teammates feeling comfortable, confident, and connected. Very relatable to underrated players who aren't necessarily players who can get you 20+ points a night or big stat stuffer like himself. Allows for his teammates to flourish without immense pressure as he can take most of the media pressure no problem.

Play style, great coaching and team leadership are the main reasons. Spreading the floor makes for open teammates. Coaching and teammates provide the assurance players need to solidify good habits and trust on the floor. When you add to that a guy that can shoot from anywhere effectively, that's hard to beat.

Typically, if you see a team with multiple all stars, you wouldn't expect their role and bench players to shine since the offense will revolve around the stars most of the time... Except for the Warriors and their unselfish brand of basketball. Humble stars and respectful bench and role players having healthy relationship with each other. A beautiful team indeed.

Dray may be harsh on teammates but for a good reason. He just wants everybody to play with their full potential. Incredibly good mentor. I liked him despite his dirty moments all the way back in his Spartan days. Dude is a straight maestro. Also, it does help you get so much open looks when you have the legendary shooting backcourt of Steph and Klay.

Really its how GSW plays. They play a very team orientated style and of course, you have the gravity of Steph that gives the rest more open shots than normal. And lastly, GSW have been patient with developing players. they stuck with some of these players for the past 2 years and are reaping the results now, compared to what the Lakers trading away their future for AD

It's the man, Bob Myers, he got instinct, he values opportunities, he knows potential, and he treats the organization pretty well. To make a monster team is easy, ask nets, but to make a dynasty, now that's on different kind of level. Also it seems like the gsw owners prioritize winning and keeping the franchise name good more than anything. Looks like they got deep pockets to secure that.
