So why? You may have noticed players doing this. In this video I explain why it might help you judge the escape #snooker #snookercoaching #snookerplayer

I remember seeing you and Mr Roe at the Corn Exchange in Derby. I was the guy a couple of tables away desperately trying to make a 10 break! 😂 Another great vid btw.

Told you helping side was easier 😂. You were plain ball during the Corn Exchange days 😬

Never forget a few friends of Billy Snaddon's travelled up to Aberdeen to watch him play David Roe. Dave Harold was on the other table and I don't think I've seen two matches as bad as them. The only entertainment was there were only about 5 of us in the crowd which included Matthew Stevens getting steaming on blue wkds. Snadz did apologise to us after it and bought us a takeaway before the long journey home. David Roe seemed a decent guy too

Great video, as always. Thank you. I had a question about playing a thin cut shot. It seems almost always that this type of shot is played with the running side. A request to please show us these types of shots. Thank you.

I'd like to see the camera angle from behind the direction off the cushion towards the pink. That would show the arc off the cushion.

Running side gives you a more a natural angle to counter the check effect the cushion induces.

I liked David Roe. Would be good to see some of the older players. Steve James and Mike Hallett were good to watch. Steve James is one of the 3 players to beat Hendry in the Crucible in the 90s, I'm sure Hendry loves being reminded of that.

Hi Michael. I have a question. What is the way forward if a player has a free ball and unintentionally snookers their opponent behind the ball they choose as the free ball. Blue pink and black were left. Snookered on blue after a foul, Pink chosen as free ball, tried to get a better snooker behind black but pink came back down table and my oponent was snookered again on the blue behind the pink. Never seen this happen before until in this particular frame. Did I play an illegal shot even though it was unintentional to lay a snooker behind the pink that was chosen as my 'free ball'. Cheers Col.

you say about side on the ball. but you dont say if you are moving the bridge left and right, or do you keep the bridge centre and just cueing left and right

What do you class as a trace of side? 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, or half a tip width.
