Cali and nate I am a retired firefighter and Paramedic it is refered to as a Blev-eeee. This is not a bleve. A bleve is the explosive catastrophic failure of a pressurized vessel. It is the same theory if you heat the outside of a spray paint can and the can all of the contents explode and spray paint can becomes a grenade. Or if a propane tank did not have the relief valve and it suddenly explodes by heating the outside of the vessel. What you did was sudden displacement of a flammable liquid due to the reaction between the cold Turkey and hot oil as the oil makes contact with the flame.

You should try make sugar glass christmass ball decorations for a tree. You could paint them in some sort of food paint then spray sugar the same colour an coat the balls in the sugar for a cool texture. Maybe somehow in the making process you can build it with a note inside of it for loved ones and on christmass day you break the ball and get the note ?

Best way to do this is to thaw your turkey using a roasting rack/baking rack a day before in the fridge. Do not cover the turkey so you can also dry the turkey. Then fry is in a lower temperature than you usually do until the entire meat is cooked properly. Then take it out then let it rest for a couple of minutes then you can flash fry in a higher temp so you get that crispy skin.
