After I get out of work I immediately check to see if you put up a new video. I make $70,000 a year and you Sir, seem so much happier than I do when I get out of work. Simple Green is what I washed my husbands work clothes in. He worked in an oil sales warehouse and drove a fuel truck. Dawn is also awesome on grease. Try a bit of the suggested products on the hem to see if they work on that fabric. Just don't set the stain by drying it.

Hi Paul 🖐️, I'm very glad that you didn't hurt yourself when you slipped. I caught myself trying to catch you ‼️go figure right ‼️‼️🤓👍🦋🐝🐞🦗🐜🐤🐺🐶🐕🎈🎈🎈🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷. OH YEAH, use some Dawn dish liquid rub it in to the stain before you wash it OR try some shout stain remover.👍
@franckaleksander64354 жыл бұрын
great summer scrap video fox To remove a stain of motor oil or grease on a fabric, follow these simple steps: 1) Gently dab the grease stain, without rubbing, with absorbent paper or a cotton ball, to remove as much grease as possible. Remember to do it on both sides of the fabric! 2) Cover the stain with a thick layer of talc, which is a very absorbent powder. If you don't have one, you can use cornstarch or salt. After a few minutes, remove the talc with a towel or spoon, avoiding spreading the grease spot even further. 3) Soak overnight in a basin of hot water with detergent powder 4) The next day, start by rinsing the garment well. If a stain is still visible, you can pre-treat it with a small amount of liquid detergent Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, then rub lightly in circular motions, using a used toothbrush or a nail brush. 5) Machine wash at the maximum temperature indicated on the garment label. In the absence of detergent, you can use a soapy degreasing product, such as dishwashing product for example, preferably colorless. Spread a layer of product on the grease stain, leave to act, before rinsing and then machine wash following the instructions on the label of your clothing.

I use some stuff called "Awesome" that I get from the Doller Store, spray it on any kind of oil based product, it will dissolve as you watch!!! Rinse, dry and you are done!! I wash down my stove whenever I fry something, it leaves the stove squeaky clean, when I need to work on my old 75 chev truck I spray my clothes and throw them in the washer, it removes the engine oil from white tee shirts completely!!!! OH, that clock you picked up. There is a place that I have used called Klock Kit.com they sell all types of hands and moter's clock faces, 'bout any thig you need to rebuild a clock or build a whole new one!!!! You will be surprised at how low their prices are, makes it worth while to fix a clock that you like!!!! Have a good one, Scrappy
@margaretwinters62344 жыл бұрын
I love awesome, it works well on anything i have used it for, Cleaned a really grease covered stove with it and it looks new, I also agree with the dawn dish soap but only the original blue, anytime you have grease put the dawn on the inside and that way you are driving it out of the fabric. Old nursing trick

Hey Paul in the begging of your video That pot was a nice pot! Easy $10 or so pot(if not damaged). As scrapers sometimes we must think outside the box. Last Monday I pick out of the garbage a set of 4 chairs with an aluminum base. I was just about to rip the aluminum base off to scrap but said to myself that these do look pretty cool and did some research. They turned out to be 4 Vladimir Kagan 1960s Aluminium Chromcraft 'Sculpta' Chairs worth thousands and the rest is history. Just my opinion on trying to help out my fellow scrapers... If you are reading this always do research first before going to the scrap yard you could be throwing away lots of cash $$$ Blessings Paul, I love watching your videos!!

I use Oxyclean for any staining. Make a paste with a small amount of water and scrub it into the stain. Put water in a tote add more oxyclean then let it soak 12-24 hours, stirring occasionally. As long as you hang dry instead of using a dryer the stain won’t set in. In case you have to clean it a second time. Don’t forget to cut the tags off first then reattach them with a little safety pin 🧷! Thank you for the wonderful vlog Paul. 🦋

Hi Paul! I Googled it and this is another way to get grease out. To get grease out of clothing, cover the stain with baby powder, baking powder, or cornstarch for 30 minutes or until the grease is dry. Then, rub colorless dish soap on the spot and place the garment in hot water for 20 minutes. Rinse the garment out, and examine the stain. I thought it was interesting, never tried this! Have a great week, can't wait for the next video! ♥️

To clean the jersey use boiling hot water, and OxiClean along with couple drops of dawn soap, let it soak for 20 min in the sink. Next hand scrub it; if all does not come out, then use more hot boiling water and liquid fabric softener and soak for 20 more min. Then wash as normal in a washing machine and then air dry it in the sun. (Don't forget to remove the tags and save to put them back on.) Stay safe and blessed Paul.

You talked about that comment. I think that person doesn't quite grasp that you're having fun doing this as a hobby, not as a full time job. As you said, you get out of the house into the fresh air, you meet some nice people, and it helps you set your mind on what's really important in life. you also make a bit of pocket money from it and end up with some useful things for free that would otherwise have ended up slowly rusting in some landfill, further poisoning the Earth. By the way...you dumped that motorized tiller you were gonna sell to your mower guy...and that red set of shelves you thought you might keep. Just sayin'.
