All the three things pointed out by the speaker were spot on. Most of the times we complicate things within us in such a messy way that we aren't able to overcome it. And by the time we realise it, opportunity is lost.

it reminds me when I started my career by selling insurance policy to a stranger whom I never met. Being a introvert kind of person, it was tough time to go out and sell policies...but, when I look back on 2001 , when I successfully sold around 88 policies in a year...life changed after that.... now, I can talk to any damn person without any hesitation...

Fantastic speech sir! Seriously Sir, you picked up the right problem, correlation, judgement and self depreciation is the the major problem for enabled to speak in public and stage..
@mouizimran1032
@mouizimran1032 6 жыл бұрын
Hello Sir, Very Nice. I hope you read this message. Undoubtedly whatever you told is true. But I want to share two points with you and all others. 1. In the last you said its upon us to silence bad voice and listen to good voice. But that power comes from the reason or cause for which we are speaking. Because I never gave a thought whenever I had to educate people about some serious issue or subject, but when it came to present something normal then stage freight comes. 2. Second point is, I think the biggest hinderence is self evaluation and anticipation of result. These two things are absent in kids that is why if you see they learn new things easily without any past success. Kids don't have that mechanism where they compare their own performances. We as adults tend to decide outcome before trying as you said correlation.

Sometimes it's not always about the will, some people really do have depression/anxiety, chemical imbalances in the brain that slow our train of though, difficultly remembering words (especially in high pressure situations).. anxiety end up compounding on top of that and it just makes public speaking a big problem for us.
