Why Do We Like An Indie Animations Like Murder Drones?

Questionable on the pacing, but that is what makes it fun to rewatch. You learn something new every time you look back, because it’s literally impossible to catch every single detail on the first watch.

It's the attention to detail for me. Indie animators do not suffer from studio-imposed crunch times and can afford to "release something when it's done". In Murder Drones' case, as a result, we receive animation that is not only high-quality, but also jam-packed with little tidbits in the background for more attentive viewers to catch, and either laugh at, form theories about, or grant them foreshadowing about the story. This also makes indie animations, and Murder Drones in particular, _insanely_ rewatchable, and able to get away with way more complex stories than your average animated film or series. Every episode recontextualizes at least some portions of former episodes and/or refers to them in some way. I've spent a substantial amount of my free time since the release of Episode 7 just combing through earlier episodes in an attempt to put pieces together. And yeah, that last bit also brings people together. I can confidently say I now have friendships that probably would not have formed as quickly, if at all, if the initial kick-start of a mutual interest in this fun show wasn't there, if we didn't spend time in DMs together trying to piece together whatever the hell we've just witnessed. Sooooo yeah. I think that that's good enough of an explanation. c:

Because the people who made these things actually cared. They have passion meanwhile Corporate only cares about money. Glitch is an amazing indie studio with talented people and i hope they keep it that way for the next decades. This is also true for indie games they're better in almost every way than a modern Triple A game.

I also remember my first reaction with murder drones is when episode 2 came out, every lighting, detail and incredible animation but hey overall a good video man

the part that brings me to murder drones is trying to unravel the mysteries. and Liam always delivers on the blink and you miss 90% of the story moments.

Personaly i like MD because the character are lovable The visual are amazing They have pretty much no restriction on what they show And mainlt the story and chara design, especialy the absolute solver who look like chtulu and glados combine.

Yah it's pretty cool! The action scenes are unrestricted and better because of it! I really like the absolute solver, definitely reminded be glados (especially with the monotone voice and use of yellow, as well as the sadistic type side of it).
