Kelly, this was absolutely the best podcast, many thanks to your guest for her time. I love skincare now, but for many years I did not use skincare, or sunscreen, routinely because I didn’t have the time and/or the funds for expensive routines or products. When I began to see skincare as self care, I fell in love with learning about the science, the ingredients and the results of a skincare routine. I started small with a few products The Ordinary because it was very affordable and I saw positive changes. When I tried my first Korean sunscreen, I finally became a conscientious and passionate consumer of wearable and affordable sunscreens from Korea and Japan, after age 50. The rest is history, I found skincare enthusiasts like yourself, on youtube, and I began to learn a little about the science and how ingredients work. Thank you so much for the time you put into producing content and I am so excited for more podcasts like this one.

What a fantastic idea for a new podcast and what a great first topic! I am no stranger to biology or deep-diving journal articles on certain ingredients for hours on end but this is a much more digestible format of getting our burning questions answered. I am a big Stratia fan and have my daughters converted as well. Id live Allie to bring us an eye cream. I would encourage you to interview Alice in the rabbithole as she analyses plant constituents to understand why alot of what actuve plants are doing to help us. Great podcast.

I have to say, Stratia Products have NEVER irritated my skin, and I mean ever! I think I may have issues with phenoxyethanol, a now-in-everything preservative, and Stratia doesn't use it💗💗💗YAY!🎉🎉🎉

Can we use peptides on a damaged barrier ?. I'm trying to use Be Minimalist Multi-Peptide Serum (7% Matrixyl 3000 + 3% Bio-Placenta) to heal my skin faster.

You can but always be mindful about how your skin feels because a compromised barrier can be sensitive to all kinds of things. Those peptides likely will not heal a damaged barrier though, look into lipids like ceramides to help heal.
