First of all amazing video bro as usual feels so good to watch. Anyways I personally think leauge is not worth taking seriously at all unless youre a streamer and its your job. Or if you want to take it seriously go climb seriously like once a year and see how far you reach. But most of time leauge should be played as any other video game, play - get bored - play/do something else. Its just not worth getting addicted to. I personally have a rule of some sorts where I climb at the start of every 2nd split and take the game very seriously. As soon as Im done and reach/dont reach my desired rank I just download other games and occasionaly play aram or a new champion. I reccomend this to others as well. Leauge is more fun more trash you are at it. Right now im playing Nocturne jungle like twice a week and i suck but its so fun and i dont care about the rank since the climb isnt on my mind. But as soon as i start playing more and get better it just becomes a waiting game, waiting for 30 mins to see that LP number go up or down.

There are some aspects I can't disagree with like learning new things and new champions everyday, but some other aspects I can't agree with. For a lot of us, League isn't our job and we can play between 1-3 games a day. After a hard working day, we want to spend the small amount of spare time left to have fun in League. It's not a matter of winning or losing, it's a matter of not being able to literally play the game by being a 1/0/0 Mid against a 6/0/0 ADC and a 0/0/6 Support with a 3/0/3 Jungler, because your botlane got completely destroyed by not watching their map. It's resulting of us not being able to farm, not being able to push, not being able to skirmish in jungle because of enemies' map control. That feeling of being in jail and forced to click on minions until /ff or your Nexus getting destroyed is a pure waste of precious time. On the other hand, games are super one sided: it's either you are getting destroyed or you are destroying the opponent, resulting in 20 mins games you weren't able to play either you win or lose. I can't even remember a close game I win or lost but enjoyed playing. I'm playing the game because I'm really attached with its universe and at the same time because I like learning new thing and improving, but when 2 or 3 out of 3 of my games were unplayable because what I said above, I'm really pissed that I spent my daily spare time of wasting it.

I play it because there isn't really any other multiplayer game with it's depth, it's the only game where I want to get better, but undoubtably I play the game less and less as they make changes I hate, they add champs like Aurora and nerf my champs to the ground after I buy a legendary skin and have to spend 3 months playing a dogshit champ and struggling to win lanes against braindead champs. Sure I'll probably get into it again once my champs get buffed, but ultimately it's not like spending more time on this game is good for me, a lot of times I feel bad for playing games in general, I always feel I should be focusing on other things like my career and relationships, so I have a hard time playing this game

I think it all boils down to the gameplay loop of LoL. In League, I'm a bronze shitter but in CS you could say my skill level is analogous to grandmaster. In CS, I have no reason to ever stop believing a game is winnable (barring the presence of a cheater), simply because even if the player at the bottom of my team is 0-10, the enemies still have 100 hp and die to one AK headshot. People become very angry at their teammates in League simply because their refusal to play their lives or prevent the opponent from gathering resources automatically means that said fed opponent can simply come and statcheck them, which removes all of their agency in terms of affecting the result of the game. I think Riot can fix this situation by lowering the int autodetection threshold from 20 to a lower number, more strictly punishing people who are not making an honest effort to win, and increasing the dropoff for gold received from repeatedly killing one enemy. Just my two cents, coming from way down the elo totem pole

the reason i am addicted to this game even though i hate it from my guts is that i invested more than 15000 hours on this dogshit so now i do not have any other thing to do in my life. The only way for me to feel be at least nearly satisfied with my day is having 10+ winstreak. Winning league games is only thing that i will ever be "achieve". I do not have a single friend, my grades are completely dogshit, i am too unhealthy can't even climb 10 stairs without having near death experience, i can't squad with 1/10 of my bodyweight, i am a complete dissappointment to my family, i can't sing or play any instrument, i am not smart. Literally the only thing i did in my life was playing league of legends and now it's the only thing i have. It's both the reason of my suicidal thoughts and what prevents me to actually do it. I need to be winning games for me to feel better than a sick, old pig.

If you're addicted to ranked in this game in an unhealthy way and it's ruining your mental health, life and future (that's how bad it was for me) the best way is to delete your account. If you can't make it past the 30 days because you backtrack ask a friend or relative to help you, change the account email to theirs, have them then go change the password and get the deletion process going and tell them not to give that sh1t back to you no matter what you tell them. Now if I feel an itch to play it I just watch a pro play game from a team I like or just some random video from a streamer and that's enough to get me past it. I might go back to it in the future but for now the best thing for me is to keep away from it. I still enjoy the media like music and cinematics Riot puts out though and am excited for the next Arcane season.

I disagree with games getting boring without changes. If you look at chess, it hasn’t been touched in hundreds of years, but the meta still changes. Let’s take cs as another example. There are very few changes, but the meta is also changing with time. Imo a good/balanced game doesn’t need changes to make it more fun.
