I use those shell loops. I use them for slugs for bear/wolf. Have to protect the dog if need be. I also keep a couple of big shot shells for any opportunities shot at duck. All in the belt loops, but the regular bird shot shells are in the bag. Just the process I have now.

I always appreciate feedback. Thanks. I should have clarified, I only shoot 28’s and .410 so the loops don’t help much for me personally. For predator issues I have a little different system. 😊

Im 60,been hunting with a 410 for 45 years, shot placement is paramount with any firearm. Stopped carrying 12 ga for water fowl some years back and use a 20 ga. My 28 gauge is a slamdunk on gobblers with a full choke and#5 shot. I use the shell loops in vests and jackets for seperate heavy loads like slugs and #2s just in case a predator moves in toward my beagles or for a value added hunt opportunity. I been a licensed hunting guide here in New York state since 1989 and seen alot of sports wound game with a 12 ga , because they dont practice in the off season or dont know how to point and follow thru. Lots of education goes on during some of those hunts!

Thanks for the feed back. To clarify I only carry a 28 or .410 personally so the loops don’t work good for me. Would have guessed you have been guiding a while just by the correct use of “sports” 👍🏼. Good hunting.

I do love sub gauge, easier recoil, do you hand load, sub ammo up in canada costs more. Hope to see the kuiu review, either go with that or final rise

I am with you on the sub gages. I’ve been shooting sub gauges since the late 90s and never look back. I have the Kuiu and final rise vests on order. If you get a chance, hit the follow button and you should see reviews in the next 30 days. I have reloaded in the past, but primarily shoot Winchester, AA’s and boss shells. They get a little pricey, but in the overall scheme, they are cheap compared to the rest of the rig. Lol. Thank again.
